Frequently Asked Questions

1. What do I need to start using the tennis trading strategies?

First of all, you need to register with an online betting exchange. There are a few players in the market these days, but I suggest you go with Betfair. It’s the biggest one and has the best liquidity in the trading markets which is crucial for successful application of the tennis trading strategies.

Next – you need some sort of betting exchange software. I’m using BetAngel, but there’s a good number available these days. Just Google up “betting exchange trading software” and you’ll see yourself! However, if you ask for my opinion – go with BetAngel. They also have a free version of software if you’re not really familiar with the trading concept. When you’ve got a hang of it, go for the full Pro version.

2. How much money do I need to start trading?

You really can start with as little as you want – and actually that’s what I suggest to trading start-ups. Just lodge a hundred quid into your Betfair account and start trading with minimum stakes. The biggest folly you could do would be to start using big stakes right away – you first need to become really familiar with the trading strategies and then increase the stakes gradually.

3. How often tennis tournaments take place and how often I can realistically expect to trade?

The number of matches depends on the season - usually you'd get around 2 - 4 qualifiers a day. Most of the matches are played during the weekends. That’s when the semifinals and finals are taking place and it puts 9 – 5ers in a good position for mastering the tennis trading strategies and getting plenty of practice. Here you can see tennis event calendar for 2010.

4. What stakes do you suggest using and what are the potential earnings?

I'm usually operating with stakes of 100 - 200 euro, sometimes more. I’m advising to go with the golden rule not to use more than 10% of the bank as a stake. Your monthly profit will depend on many factors - how often you trade, which systems you use and how well you execute the strategies. By gradually increasing the stakes and mastering the trading strategies you can expect earning around 1000 – 1500£ a month.

Just bear in mind - don't start big, always begin with trading with small stakes and experimenting with what works best for you. Stick with one strategy at a time and gradually increase the stakes. If you stick with that and don't chase losing trades you should do quite well in around 3 - 5 months or so.

5. Are all tennis matches eligible for trading using TTLS 2.0 strategies?

Yes, you can trade any tennis matches using my tennis trading strategies. Just bear in mind you can’t trade 5 setters using Race Your Profits, ChampWinnings and Final Serve strategies. It’s because the odds won’t react on players’ scoring the same way they do in 3 setters. But Tennis Scalper strategy can be applied on any tennis match, Grand Slam 5 setters including.

6. Can I use the TTLS 2.0 tennis trading strategies on all online betting exchanges?

In theory you can. In the reality, though, Betfair is the only online betting exchange that provides decent liquidity in the tennis markets. You simply won’t be able to use the strategies on other exchanges because of poor liquidity and uneven odds distribution.

7. Can I get a downloadable version of the TTLS 2.0 video course?

Unfortunately it’s impossible due to a very large file size. The whole video course is nearly 2 GB big. Some customers were running into download issues even with the previous version of Tennis Trading League which was just over 200 MB in size. So please understand that DVD is the only practical option for delivering my trading strategies to you.

8. How long do I have to wait for the DVD to reach my doorstep?

I will post the TTLS 2.0 package to you within 24 h (maximum!) after the reception of your payment. I’m using the Irish postal services and they commit to the following delivery times: Great Britain – 2/3 working days; mainland Europe – 3/5 working days; the rest of the world – 5/7 working days.

9. What if I’m no good at betting exchange trading? What if I realize it’s just not working out for me?

I have a money-back policy. If you really feel that tennis trading is not your cup of tea, you can request your investment back. So as you can see, it’s a no-risk situation for you!

10. If these tennis trading strategies really work, why have you invested your time and effort to create this website and the product? Would you not rather spend your time on doing what you’re good at – trading tennis?

First of all – I’ve outsourced most of the web-building and other tech stuff. All I needed to do is to take screencasts and screenshots and write down the notes for the chap who’s putting it all together. At the end of the day, of course it’s business for me and I’ve invested in a venture with good return on investment.

Secondly – I don’t mind spending 30 – 45 minutes daily on answering e-mails if it results in a nice stream of additional income. On top of that, I like helping others out with advice and there’s no better feeling when receiving an e-mail saying – thanks Paddy, your strategies really work and I’ve already made nice trading profit!
