PLEASE NOTE, IF THERE ARE LIQUIDITY ISSUES, ALWAYS KEEP THE STAKES LOW
WTA BUCHAREST (CLAY):
1. 13:00 – Errani v Peer –> HOT TIP
I didn’t think Errani was amazingly impressive in her previous match but she still won in 2 sets.
With too much experience on Clay, she has to be backed here.
—> Back Errani @1.16, lay @1.05
2. 14:30 – Babos v Vinci
Babos must be tired after having a good workout in Wimbledon playing singles, doubles and even mixed-doubles. Suggesting to go for Vinci as the quick transition from Grass to Clay is likely to be challenging for the Hungarian Babos, who has lost all previous 5 matches on this surface.
—> Back Vinci @1.75, lay @1.4
3. 17:30 – Zhang v Dulgheru –> HOT TIP (SAME TIP AS YESTERDAY)
Dulgheru is the home favourite here and has played exceptionally well in her most recent clay tournament at Contrexeville in France, beating the likes of Bertens, Dominguez Lino, Pereira and Putintseva.
With Zhang not having any great record on Clay, I have to incline with Dulgheru here..
—> Back Dulgheru @1.3, lay @1.1
WTA SWEDEN (CLAY):
4. 10:00 – Stosur v Vecino
Vecino took the only encounter between these two in a 3 set affair back in April. With Stosur generally having a pretty decent season on Clay I find her a good option to back here at the start.
—> Back Stosur @1.36, lay @1.15
ATP NEWPORT (GRASS):
5. 19:15 – Lacko v Sock
Newport has already seen a couple of big upsets through the exits of Isner and Tomic. However, Sock didn’t have any trouble hammering Stepanek yesterday. I am with him to start well here..
—> Back Sock @1.22, lay @1.08
Good luck!
Some Terms Explained:
Back: Normal Stakes – use 10% of bank.
Back Heavy(BH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Lay: Normal stakes – use 10% of bank.
Lay Heavy(LH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Likely 3 Setter – consider laying the winner of the first set.
Hot Tip – I have more confidence in these tips. However, use normal stake sizes.
Tips are deemed unsuccessful at 40% loss of stake.
All odds shown with the tips are correct at time of publishing. Odds are often given several hours ahead of the event. If odds have changed, adjust your back/lay stake accordingly e.g. if I tip ‘Back at 1.5, Lay at 1.25’ – and back odds move to 1.55, adjust your lay odds to 1.3 – there are still 25 ticks between the back and lay odds.
Delay and Trade!! It’s OK to place your trades before the match starts, but in my opinion, waiting 2/3 games before placing your trades is the safest way to trade. This is advised in many of the articles below. To delay and trade will give you a good feel for the match. Delay and Trade is a MUST if you are Backing Heavy. Delaying is advised mostly for the women’s game, as early breaks of serve are more likely. Please read the relevant article below.
