PLEASE NOTE, IF THERE ARE LIQUIDITY ISSUES, ALWAYS KEEP THE STAKES LOW
ATP COLOMBIA: (HARD)
1. 21:00 – Mannarino v Tomic
Tomic is the obvious favourite here, but Mannarino has been much more impressive in my opinion knocking out an in-form Rajeev Ram and a much more dangerous hard courter, Ivo Karlovic. I feel this begs for a LAY on Tomic.
–> Lay Tomic @1.74, back @2.3
ATP CROATIA: (CLAY)
2. 19:00 – Thiem v Sousa
Both these players were rather big underdogs to Monfils and Agut respectively, but won after losing the first set.
Comparing their performances so far, Thiem is indeed the right favourite as he has some awesome power in his arsenal and a very decent serve.
Suggesting to go for the favourite..
—> Back Thiem @1.65, Lay @1.25
ATP SWEDEN: (CLAY)
3. 13:00 – Robredo v Paire
While Robredo reaching the final here in Sweden isn’t a huge surprise, Paire has shocked everyone by reaching this stage beating players like Goffin and especially Cuevas on the way.
I really think the Frenchman could be a serious danger to Robredo as his serves have been consistently good throughout this tournament.
Suggesting to lay Robredo..
–> Lay Robredo @1.6, Back @2.2
WTA ISTANBUL: (HARD)
4. 15:00 – Tsurenko v U.Radwanska
I disagree with the pricing for this match as Radwanska has played better in this tournament knocking out tougher opponents like Jelena Jankovic, Pironkova and Rybarikova.
Definitely suggesting to lay Tsurenko here as I don’t think Radwanska is going to lose her chance for this title.
—> Lay Tsurenko @1.91, Back @2.8
WTA BAD GASTEIN: (CLAY)
5 9:00 – Knapp v Errani (SAME TIP AS YESTERDAY)
Knapp started poorly against Hercog and still ended up winning in 2 sets. Errani though, made it too hard for herself and also had some injury issues midway through her match against Kasatkina.
Given the fact Knapp has served pretty well recently on Clay, I feel laying Errani is the right strategy here..
—> Lay Errani @1.76, back @2.5
Good luck!
Some Terms Explained:
Back: Normal Stakes – use 10% of bank.
Back Heavy(BH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Lay: Normal stakes – use 10% of bank.
Lay Heavy(LH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Likely 3 Setter – consider laying the winner of the first set.
Hot Tip – I have more confidence in these tips. However, use normal stake sizes.
Tips are deemed unsuccessful at 40% loss of stake.
All odds shown with the tips are correct at time of publishing. Odds are often given several hours ahead of the event. If odds have changed, adjust your back/lay stake accordingly e.g. if I tip ‘Back at 1.5, Lay at 1.25’ – and back odds move to 1.55, adjust your lay odds to 1.3 – there are still 25 ticks between the back and lay odds.
Delay and Trade!! It’s OK to place your trades before the match starts, but in my opinion, waiting 2/3 games before placing your trades is the safest way to trade. This is advised in many of the articles below. To delay and trade will give you a good feel for the match. Delay and Trade is a MUST if you are Backing Heavy. Delaying is advised mostly for the women’s game, as early breaks of serve are more likely. Please read the relevant article below.
