All times are UK/Irish and are subject to change, and all times are in 24hr format e.g., 01.00 = 1am and 16:00 = 4pm:

PLEASE NOTE, IF THERE ARE LIQUIDITY ISSUES, ALWAYS KEEP THE STAKES LOW

ATP SWEDEN: (CLAY)

1. 10:00 – Istomin v Almagro

While Istomin’s recent form has generally been pretty good, he hasn’t had a great season on Clay so far. Considering Almagro is simply one of the most experienced clay courters out there, this one is likely to go against Isto!

—> Back Almagro @1.4, lay @1.18

2. 11:45 – Ramos v Robredo

Recent form of Ramos has been good on Clay. Suggesting to go for the favourite here..

—> Back Ramos @1.9, lay @1.45

ATP COLOMBIA: (HARD)

3. 18:00 – Mannarino v Ram

I have to disagree with these odds as Ram has played very well recently. On top of that, he beat the home favourite Falla yesterday.

Suggesting to lay Mannarino here..

—> Lay Mannarino @1.5, back @2

4. 21:30 – Sugita v Estrella Burgos (SAME TIP AS YESTERDAY)

I wasn’t impressed with Sugita’s display in the earlier match. With Estrella having a pretty decent season already, I feel he is the right player to back at the start.

—> Back Estrella @1.56, lay @1.25

ATP CROATIA: (CLAY)

5. 16:30 – Haider-Maurer v Klizan

Definitely going for Klizan here who played some awesome Tennis against Carreno Busta in his previous match.

—> Back Klizan @1.45, lay @1.18

WTA NURNBERGER GASTEIN: (CLAY)

6. 11:30 – Schmiedlova v Mitu

Simply putting, Schmiedlova has played with no fear in the past week in winning the title at Bucharest. I have to go for her today!

—> Back Schmiedlova @1.31, lay @1.18

7. 14:30 – Knapp v Larsson

While Larsson won her home tournament recently, I really think Knapp can outperform her today – her serve will be vital.

Taking a calculated risk on Knapp to start well ..

—> Lay Larsson @1.86, back @2.6

WTA ISTANBUL: (HARD)

8. 11:00 – Pironkova v Nara —> HOT TIP

Pironkova’s last 4 losses were to good players like Bencic, Aga Radwanska, Kerber and Stephens. Nara though, lost to lesser players like Dulgheru and Siniakova.

In general, I feel Piro has been playing pretty well and if she can serve well enough, she is good enough to wrap this one comfortably.

—> Back Pironkova @1.75, lay @1.4

9. 17:00 – Schiavone v Giorgi —> HOT TIP

While Schiavone beat Karatantcheva in her previous match, Giorgi had a much tougher encounter against a hard court specialist, Cibulkova.

Opting to go for the younger Italian here..

—> Back Giorgi @1.35, lay @1.14

Good luck!

Some Terms Explained:

Back: Normal Stakes – use 10% of bank.
Back Heavy(BH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Lay: Normal stakes – use 10% of bank.
Lay Heavy(LH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Likely 3 Setter – consider laying the winner of the first set.
Hot Tip – I have more confidence in these tips. However, use normal stake sizes.

Tips are deemed unsuccessful at 40% loss of stake.

All odds shown with the tips are correct at time of publishing. Odds are often given several hours ahead of the event. If odds have changed, adjust your back/lay stake accordingly e.g. if I tip ‘Back at 1.5, Lay at 1.25’ – and back odds move to 1.55, adjust your lay odds to 1.3 – there are still 25 ticks between the back and lay odds.

Delay and Trade!! It’s OK to place your trades before the match starts, but in my opinion, waiting 2/3 games before placing your trades is the safest way to trade. This is advised in many of the articles below. To delay and trade will give you a good feel for the match. Delay and Trade is a MUST if you are Backing Heavy. Delaying is advised mostly for the women’s game, as early breaks of serve are more likely.  Please read the relevant article below.

Help and Advice: Tennis Trading Tip – Successful or not?

Some folks have asked why I call the tips ‘Betfair Tennis Trading Tips’ and have asked if the tips can be used on other betting exchanges. I use Betfair for all my trading because Betfair has the best liquidity. All of my prices are taken from Betfair.
Betfair Tennis Trading gives you the best opportunities to make profits. You can use the trading tips on other exchanges – there may be small price differences – but these shouldn’t matter. If you decide to use a site other that Betfair for trading, make sure that the liquidity is there.
If you’re unsure about what liquidity is required, see question 17 on my FAQ section at http://tennis-trading-league.com/faq/
