PLEASE NOTE, IF THERE ARE LIQUIDITY ISSUES, ALWAYS KEEP THE STAKES LOW
ATP CINCINNATI: (HARD)
1. 17:30 – Querrey v Robredo
I thought Sam Querrey looked brilliant against compatriot John Isner in the previous match. Serves are going to be crucial at the start, so go for the home favourite.
—> Back Querrey @1.98, Lay @1.45
2. 19:30 – Anderson v Sock
Since his loss to Djokovic at Wimbledon, Kevin Anderson has lost 2 first round matches on hard courts and had trouble against Leo Mayer in the 1st round here at Cincinnati. Prefer going for Sock here who should be used to the conditions.
—> Back Sock @1.95, Lay @1.5
WTA CINCINNATI: (HARD)
3. 17:30 – Pavlyuchenkova v Shvedova
A tough match in prospect here for Pavlyu as Shvedova has played brilliant so far beating the likes of Gajdosova and Muguruza.
Prefer laying the Russian here as the start of this match could swing both ways.
—> Lay Pavlyu @1.71, Back @2.2
4. 18:00 – Vandeweghe v Safarova
Safarova should probably be the favourite but I don’t think this market is rightly priced considering Coco Vandeweghe has had some very good runs this year. Suggesting to Lay Safarova at the start in a match that could go all the way.
—> Lay Safa @1.56, Back @2.4
Good luck!
Some Terms Explained:
Back: Normal Stakes – use 10% of bank.
Back Heavy(BH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Lay: Normal stakes – use 10% of bank.
Lay Heavy(LH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Likely 3 Setter – consider laying the winner of the first set.
Hot Tip – I have more confidence in these tips. However, use normal stake sizes.
Tips are deemed unsuccessful at 40% loss of stake.
All odds shown with the tips are correct at time of publishing. Odds are often given several hours ahead of the event. If odds have changed, adjust your back/lay stake accordingly e.g. if I tip ‘Back at 1.5, Lay at 1.25’ – and back odds move to 1.55, adjust your lay odds to 1.3 – there are still 25 ticks between the back and lay odds.
Delay and Trade!! It’s OK to place your trades before the match starts, but in my opinion, waiting 2/3 games before placing your trades is the safest way to trade. This is advised in many of the articles below. To delay and trade will give you a good feel for the match. Delay and Trade is a MUST if you are Backing Heavy. Delaying is advised mostly for the women’s game, as early breaks of serve are more likely. Please read the relevant article below.
