These tips are published when all have been played – in order to get today’s tips, join by clicking here and I’ll mail them to you!! To see stats and results, please click on the ‘TRADING STATS’ link above.

All times are UK/Irish and are subject to change, and all times are in 24hr format e.g., 01.00 = 1am and 16:00 = 4pm:

PLEASE NOTE, IF THERE ARE LIQUIDITY ISSUES, ALWAYS KEEP THE STAKES LOW

ATP MONTE CARLO (CLAY):

1. 9:30 – Berdych v Raonic

Raonic already knows how to handle Berdych as he leads 3-2 in HEAD TO HEAD Stats. I think there is more than good reason to lay Berdych here who didn’t look at his absolute best against Agut in his earlier match.

—> Lay Berdych @1.58, back @2

2. 11:00 – Dimitrov v Monfils

Yesterday’s real star was Gael Monfils, knocking out Roger Federer in 2 Sets. I feel the odds maybe priced right here as this is pretty much a 50/50 call on paper, however, I also think that Monfils has stepped up his tennis recently.

I expect a bit of fluctuation at the start against Dimitrov so suggesting to lay him.

—> Lay Dimitrov @1.99, back @2.6

WTA CLARO OPEN (CLAY):

3. 16:30 – Svitolina v Falconi

Svitolina has hammered both her opponents so far in Colombia. Suggesting to back her here as I didn’t see many weaknesses in her game so far.

—> Back Svitolina @1.32, lay @1.15

4. 17:00 – Pereira v Dominguez

Both these girls started poorly in their previous match but ended up winning in 2 sets. I do agree with Pereira being the favourite here but Dominguez is a proper clay courter and can definitely win this if she plays her best.

Suggesting to lay Pereira as I feel the first set is pretty hard to call.

—> Lay Pereira @1.75, back @2.4

No HOT TIPS today as there are quite a few tricky matches..

Good luck!

Some Terms Explained:

Back: Normal Stakes – use 10% of bank.
Back Heavy(BH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Lay: Normal stakes – use 10% of bank.
Lay Heavy(LH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Likely 3 Setter – consider laying the winner of the first set.
Hot Tip – I have more confidence in these tips. However, use normal stake sizes.

Tips are deemed unsuccessful at 40% loss of stake.

All odds shown with the tips are correct at time of publishing. Odds are often given several hours ahead of the event. If odds have changed, adjust your back/lay stake accordingly e.g. if I tip ‘Back at 1.5, Lay at 1.25’ – and back odds move to 1.55, adjust your lay odds to 1.3 – there are still 25 ticks between the back and lay odds.

Delay and Trade!! It’s OK to place your trades before the match starts, but in my opinion, waiting 2/3 games before placing your trades is the safest way to trade. This is advised in many of the articles below. To delay and trade will give you a good feel for the match. Delay and Trade is a MUST if you are Backing Heavy. Delaying is advised mostly for the women’s game, as early breaks of serve are more likely.  Please read the relevant article below.

Some folks have asked why I call the tips ‘Betfair Tennis Trading Tips’ and have asked if the tips can be used on other betting exchanges. I use Betfair for all my trading because Betfair has the best liquidity. All of my prices are taken from Betfair.
Betfair Tennis Trading gives you the best opportunities to make profits. You can use the trading tips on other exchanges – there may be small price differences – but these shouldn’t matter. If you decide to use a site other that Betfair for trading, make sure that the liquidity is there.
If you’re unsure about what liquidity is required, see question 17 on my FAQ section at http://tennis-trading-league.com/faq/
