MUTUA MADRID OPEN:
MENS:
1. 14:00 – Berdych v Nadal
Berydch didn’t serve his usual best in the last match and had a rather tough 3 setter against John Isner. Rafa on the other hand is yet to lose a set at Madrid. After two disappointing losses on Clay in the past couple of weeks, he wouldn’t want to lose in his home nation today against the Czech Berdych so fancying the Spaniard to shine here..
—> Back Rafa Nadal @1.33, lay @1.14
2. 19:00 – Nishikori v Murray
Nishikori was just unbelievably good against Ferrer and punished the Spaniard on every occassion. If he continues that form, Andy is bound to have a workout today. While Murray leads 3-1 in head to head, this is going to be their first meeting on Clay.
By current level of confidence, I must fancy the Japanese phenom starting better ..
—> Back Nishi @1.63, lay @1.25
WOMENS:
3. 16:30 – Kvitova v Kuznetsova
Both Kvitova and Kuznetsova lost in the first rounds of their previous clay court tournaments at Stuttgart and Prague respectively. However, they both deserve to be in this final after shocking the top favourites Serena and Sharapova, both in 2 sets which is quite spectacular!
This match may come down to who can hold their serves well so I am fancying Kvitova to get the better of the Russian Kuznetsova at the start. A possible 3 setter but I feel the Czech is good enough to win this in 2 …
—> Back Kvitova @1.59, lay @1.2
Good luck!

Lay: Normal stakes – use 10% of bank.
Lay Heavy(LH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Likely 3 Setter – consider laying the winner of the first set.
Hot Tip – I have more confidence in these tips. However, use normal stake sizes.
Tips are deemed unsuccessful at 40% loss of stake.
All odds shown with the tips are correct at time of publishing. Odds are often given several hours ahead of the event. If odds have changed, adjust your back/lay stake accordingly e.g. if I tip ‘Back at 1.5, Lay at 1.25’ – and back odds move to 1.55, adjust your lay odds to 1.3 – there are still 25 ticks between the back and lay odds.
Delay and Trade!! It’s OK to place your trades before the match starts, but in my opinion, waiting 2/3 games before placing your trades is the safest way to trade. This is advised in many of the articles below. To delay and trade will give you a good feel for the match. Delay and Trade is a MUST if you are Backing Heavy. Delaying is advised mostly for the women’s game, as early breaks of serve are more likely. Please read the relevant article below.
