All times are UK/Irish and are subject to change, and all times are in 24hr format e.g., 01.00 = 1am and 16:00 = 4pm:

PLEASE NOTE, IF THERE ARE LIQUIDITY ISSUES, ALWAYS KEEP THE STAKES LOW

BNP PARIBAS:

MEN:

1. 18:00 – Kukushkin v Pospisil

Kukushkin’s form in the past few months has really been solid. In fact, he is coming into this match beating both Bolelli and Seppi at Davis cup, without losing a set.

Pospisil relies more on his serves and I feel the Kazakh may have the upper hand on the overall game variety.

Definitely suggesting to lay the Canadian here as the first set may indeed see some fluctuation.

—> Lay Pospisil @1.95, back @2.6

2. 21:00 – Delbonis v Lajovic

Delbonis leads 2-1 in head to head and has both those wins on hard courts. However, Lajovic is a much improved player to his previous seasons and has been serving pretty well.

Backing the favourite seems the wiser choice.

—> Back Lajovic @1.55, lay @1.25

WOMEN:

3. 18:00 – Gajdosova v Vinci –> HOT TIP

Gajdosova has been serving quite impressively recently, with some solid aggression in her rallies. The Australian already holds a 2-0 head to head record against the Italian Vinci, both on hard courts.

I am very much inclined to go for the favourite here who could end up winning rather easily today!

—> Back Gajdosova @1.51, lay @1.22

4. 18:00 – Zhu v Schiavone

These two have never faced each other, which means, the experience of Schiavone might come into play to decide this one.
However, more importantly, I feel these courts in Indian Wells are going to suit defensive players more and Schiavone and her defensive slices could end up being an absolute nemesis for the young Chinese girl.

Going for Schia to start better but suggesting to keep the stakes low..

—> Back Schia @1.51, lay @1.25

Good luck!

Some Terms Explained:

Back: Normal Stakes – use 10% of bank.
Back Heavy(BH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Lay: Normal stakes – use 10% of bank.
Lay Heavy(LH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Likely 3 Setter – consider laying the winner of the first set.
Hot Tip – I have more confidence in these tips. However, use normal stake sizes.

Tips are deemed unsuccessful at 40% loss of stake.

All odds shown with the tips are correct at time of publishing. Odds are often given several hours ahead of the event. If odds have changed, adjust your back/lay stake accordingly e.g. if I tip ‘Back at 1.5, Lay at 1.25’ – and back odds move to 1.55, adjust your lay odds to 1.3 – there are still 25 ticks between the back and lay odds.

Delay and Trade!! It’s OK to place your trades before the match starts, but in my opinion, waiting 2/3 games before placing your trades is the safest way to trade. This is advised in many of the articles below. To delay and trade will give you a good feel for the match. Delay and Trade is a MUST if you are Backing Heavy. Delaying is advised mostly for the women’s game, as early breaks of serve are more likely.  Please read the relevant article below.
