Betfair Tennis Trading Tips: ATP WTA Wednesday 11th February

All times are UK/Irish and are subject to change, and all times are in 24hr format e.g., 01.00 = 1am and 16:00 = 4pm:

WTA BNP PARIBAS FORTIS:

1. 13:00 – Bondarenko v Cibulkova

Cibu’s form on hard courts has been simply amazing in the last season or so. With so much aggression in her current game, I feel the Slovakian will be too hot to handle for Bonda.

—> Back Cibu @1.35, lay @1.14

Trading wise, I feel keeping stakes to low is wise for this match as it’s a bit early in the tournament..

ATP BRASIL:

2. 16:15 – Cuevas v Bagnis

Cuevas is simply an outstanding clay courter. Bagnis I felt got rather lucky against Delbonis who hasn’t been spot on recently, so this one may indeed go to the favourite rather quickly.

—> Back Cuevas @1.3, lay @1.07

ATP AMRO ROTTERDAM:

3. 14:30 – Murray v Mahut –> HOT TIP

The courts in this tournament are perfect for an ultra defensive minded player like Andy Murray.
To make it worse for Mahut, he lost all hard court head to head matches against the Scot. Hence, I really feel there is value in going for Andy, even with low odds.

Some Terms Explained:

Back: Normal Stakes – use 10% of bank.
Back Heavy(BH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Lay: Normal stakes – use 10% of bank.
Lay Heavy(LH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Likely 3 Setter – consider laying the winner of the first set.
Hot Tip – I have more confidence in these tips. However, use normal stake sizes.

Tips are deemed unsuccessful at 40% loss of stake.

All odds shown with the tips are correct at time of publishing. Odds are often given several hours ahead of the event. If odds have changed, adjust your back/lay stake accordingly e.g. if I tip ‘Back at 1.5, Lay at 1.25’ – and back odds move to 1.55, adjust your lay odds to 1.3 – there are still 25 ticks between the back and lay odds.

Delay and Trade!! It’s OK to place your trades before the match starts, but in my opinion, waiting 2/3 games before placing your trades is the safest way to trade. This is advised in many of the articles below. To delay and trade will give you a good feel for the match. Delay and Trade is a MUST if you are Backing Heavy. Delaying is advised mostly for the women’s game, as early breaks of serve are more likely.  Please read the relevant article below.

Some folks have asked why I call the tips ‘Betfair Tennis Trading Tips’ and have asked if the tips can be used on other betting exchanges. I use Betfair for all my trading because Betfair has the best liquidity. All of my prices are taken from Betfair.
Betfair Tennis Trading gives you the best opportunities to make profits. You can use the trading tips on other exchanges – there may be small price differences – but these shouldn’t matter. If you decide to use a site other that Betfair for trading, make sure that the liquidity is there.
