MUTUA MADRID OPEN:
MENS:
1. 13:30 – Tsonga v Sock –> HOT TIP
Unlike his previous opponent Andujar, today Jack Sock has a much tougher match through the big serving Tsonga.
Prefer going for the favourite here..
—> Back Tsonga @1.67, lay @1.25
2. 17:00 – Agut v Querrey
Agut should be the favourite by form but I’m not quite sure if he should be a heavy favourite as the bookies suggest. I am suggesting to lay Agut here but keep the stakes low..
—> Lay Agut @1.28, back @1.5
3. 18:00 – Goffin v Nishikori –> HOT TIP
While Goffin is certainly an aggressive player, Nishikori has a number of weapons in his arsenal that is good enough to win this match comfortably.
Definitely agreeing with these odds. Nishi has to be a heavy favourite today!
—> Back Nishi @1.18, lay @1.05
WOMENS:
4. 15:00 – Safarova v Vinci –> HOT TIP
Safarova is a much better all round player than any of Vinci’s previous opponents. I feel this should be done and dusted in 2 sets!
—> Back Safa @1.33, lay @1.14
5. 19:00 – Kuznetsova v Stosur
A mouthwatering match here as these two are pretty aggressive players.
Stosur beat Kerber in round 1 and Kanepi in round 2 while Kuznetsova got past Makarova and a very tough Muguruza. Overall, I feel Kuzzy is good enough to continue her good form today..
Suggesting to lay the Australian Stosur.
—> Lay Stosur @1.8, back @2.6
Good luck!
Some Terms Explained:

Back Heavy(BH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Lay: Normal stakes – use 10% of bank.
Lay Heavy(LH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Likely 3 Setter – consider laying the winner of the first set.
Hot Tip – I have more confidence in these tips. However, use normal stake sizes.
Tips are deemed unsuccessful at 40% loss of stake.
All odds shown with the tips are correct at time of publishing. Odds are often given several hours ahead of the event. If odds have changed, adjust your back/lay stake accordingly e.g. if I tip ‘Back at 1.5, Lay at 1.25’ – and back odds move to 1.55, adjust your lay odds to 1.3 – there are still 25 ticks between the back and lay odds.
Delay and Trade!! It’s OK to place your trades before the match starts, but in my opinion, waiting 2/3 games before placing your trades is the safest way to trade. This is advised in many of the articles below. To delay and trade will give you a good feel for the match. Delay and Trade is a MUST if you are Backing Heavy. Delaying is advised mostly for the women’s game, as early breaks of serve are more likely. Please read the relevant article below.
