Betfair Tennis Trading Tips: ATP/WTA Saturday 11th October

ATP SHANGHAI:

1. 9:30 – Simon v Lopez

Simon did cause another upset yesterday but I feel Lopez’ serves could be hard to neutralize for the Frenchman. Suggesting to lay Simon who is surprisingly the favourite here.

Lay Simon at 1.71, back at 2.3

2. 13:00 – Djokovic v Federer

Federer had some issues against Mayer in one of his previous matches. Djokovic though looked solid even though he had a good challenge through Mikael Kukushkin. Overall, Novak is without a question the better among the two. However, if Novak wins the first set easily, consider laying him at low prices of 1.07 and below as this could turn out to be a classic 3 setter!

Back Djokovic at 1.4, lay at 1.16

I am suggesting to keep the stakes low at the start here..

WTA JAPAN:

3. 4:00 – Diyas v Kumkhum

Diyas fought back well against Konjuh in a tight match. Kumkhum also has had some tough matches earlier this week but came back brilliantly to win. With Diyas’ serves looking a bit shaky at the start, I am inclining towards a lay here.

Lay Diyas at 1.46, back 1.75

4. 5:30 – Stosur v Svitolina –> HOT TIP

Odds say this one is a tough match to call and indeed it could end up that way through a possible 3 setter.

Assuming it does go to 3 sets, I fancy the former US Open champ to shine here with all her experience in WTA.

Going for Sam Stosur to start well hence this one is a HOT TIP for me!

Back Stosur at 1.62, lay at 1.25

WTA TIANJIN:

5. 4:30 – S.Zheng v Riske

I’m fancying Riske to play better at the start here so suggesting to back her here. She’s definitely the better server for me.

Back Riske at 1.65, lay at 1.25

6. 5:30 – Bencic v Peng

Both have played alright so far but for me Bencic is the better server and more likely to start quicker. A possible 3 setter as Peng is a 3 set specialist.

Lay Peng at 1.71, back at 2.5

WTA LINZ:

7. 12:30 – Knapp v Giorgi

With Ivanovic and Bouchard out, this is Giorgi’s best chance to reach the final and possibly win. I do think she is the far better player. With her pure aggression, Giorgi is likely to knock out Knapp in 2 if her serves hold.

Back Giorgi at 1.54, lay at 1.2
