ATP SHANGHAI:

1. 6:00 – Johnson v Golubev

Current form indicates that Johnson is definitely on a role! Backing him here is the safer choice.

2. 6:00 – Kokkinakis v Lopez

I suggest backing Lopez who is an experienced hard courter but again keep the stakes low..

3. 7:30 – Lu v Karlovic

Karlovic looked exceptional and more importantly very confident by knocking out Cilic in his earlier match. Go for him as he always gives some extra insurance through his serves.

4. 7:45 – Pospisil v Giraldo

Pospisil played a decent match against the World no.1 the other week in Japan. He has also won both meetings between the two, most recently beating Giraldo 3-0 in the Davis Cup in September this year.

5. 13:00- Mayer v Wu

Probably one of the most improved player in the ATP circuit is Mayer. His serves have been solid and his overall game has had consistency. Back him against the less experienced Wu.

WTA TIANJIN:

6. 5:30 – Jankovic v Kudryavtseva

Jankovic is too good to lose to Kudra here. I see a straight set win in
the Serbian’s favour.

Back Peng@1.26, lay@1.1

Can’t see Peng losing here..She has lost to Peer twice since 2006 – one being in 2006 in Los Angeles and the other loss was due to an injury to Peng. Otherwise, Peng has dominated matched between the two.

WTA JAPAN:

8. 2:30 – Voracova v Aoyama

Aoyama played exceptionally against Savchuk in her earlier match.
