PLEASE NOTE, IF THERE ARE LIQUIDITY ISSUES, ALWAYS KEEP THE STAKES LOW
ATP BRD NASTASE OPEN (CLAY):
1. 11:00 – Gimeno-Traver v Vesely
Gimeno has already knocked out 2 very good players in Bucharest. His latest casualty was Gilles Simon who was the favourite to win this tournament.
I feel Vesely will have a tough encounter tomorrow as he already trails 2-0 in head to head terms against Gimeno.
Suggesting to lay Vesely..
—> Lay Vesely @1.82, back @2.5
2. 12:45 – Garcia Lopez v Monfils —> HOT TIP
Monfils has played exceptionally well on clay this season, causing an upset by beating Roger Federer at Monte Carlo in his previous tournament. Eventhough he lost to Berdych there, the Frenchman remains consistently good, especially on serves, and is yet to lose a set in Romania.
I agree with the odds here and feel Monfils must be backed today.
—> Back Monfils @1.36, lay @1.15
WTA STUTTGART (CLAY):
3. 12:30 – Wozniacki v Halep
I agree Halep should be favourite here as she is playing some brilliant tennis. However, the match against Errani was proof that her serves can be broken. In fact, if Errani had a better serve, she could have knocked out Halep in the earlier match.
Wozniacki has looked unbelievably good so far. Therefore it’s definitely worth laying Simona today.
—> Lay Halep @1.45, back @2
4. 17:30 – Kerber v Brengle
While Kerber has been consistent at Stuttgart, Brengle has been the dark horse here. She had a very impressive win against a solid serving Caroline Garcia in the last match which came after losing the first set. If she can serve that well tomorrow, I think there could be a chance of a shock upset.
I am suggesting to lay Kerber here but keep the stakes low..
—> Lay Kerber @1.28, back @1.65
Good luck!
Some Terms Explained:
Back: Normal Stakes – use 10% of bank.
Back Heavy(BH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Lay: Normal stakes – use 10% of bank.
Lay Heavy(LH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Likely 3 Setter – consider laying the winner of the first set.
Hot Tip – I have more confidence in these tips. However, use normal stake sizes.
Tips are deemed unsuccessful at 40% loss of stake.
All odds shown with the tips are correct at time of publishing. Odds are often given several hours ahead of the event. If odds have changed, adjust your back/lay stake accordingly e.g. if I tip ‘Back at 1.5, Lay at 1.25’ – and back odds move to 1.55, adjust your lay odds to 1.3 – there are still 25 ticks between the back and lay odds.
Delay and Trade!! It’s OK to place your trades before the match starts, but in my opinion, waiting 2/3 games before placing your trades is the safest way to trade. This is advised in many of the articles below. To delay and trade will give you a good feel for the match. Delay and Trade is a MUST if you are Backing Heavy. Delaying is advised mostly for the women’s game, as early breaks of serve are more likely. Please read the relevant article below.
