Hello my fellow Betfair traders and those who want to become ones!
Now I’m going to show you another live trading example with one of my tennis trading systems – Race Your Profits – in action. And you’ll be able to see how I manage to execute a profitable trade in a second attempt after an unmatched bet has been cancelled.
You see – not always the trades are as easy as a piece of cake; sometimes the market goes against you, sometimes the bets simply get unmatched.
But regardless of these hampering factors, you have to master the right Betfair trader’s mindset and once you’ve acquired the peace of mind while trading – there’s nothing that could stop you on the way to making regular Betfair trading income!
So let’s see this trade and I’ll explain you all the bits and pieces!
The first bet of the trade is placed on the favourite player Simon at the odds of 1.97. Well, judging after the current odds, he isn’t a distinct favourite of the match. However, at the beginning of the match he was trading at around 1.2 which matches Race Your Profits System’s match selection criteria.
Now, when the first bet has been placed, I have to be very vigilant and close the trade at the right moment either minimizing the losses or maximizing the profit. This is your ultimate goal as a Betfair trader, and I can’t stress it enough – don’t fantasize about making a week’s income in a single trade. Be realistic and approach the Betfair tennis trading process as a business rather than some get-rich-quick thing!
Now comes the crucial moment in the match when Simon’s odds have dropped to a level insuring the minimum profit and I’m clicking the lay button at 1.61. Ideally I should have been waiting until the favourite scores a break point as it would insure a really profitable odds drop.
However, the things don’t always happen accordingly to the plan. Sometimes, depending on the situation, you have to accept minor deviations from the major strategy. Right now I’m also doing so by canceling the unmatched bet and keeping on watching the players’ score.
Dimitrov scores three points in a row thus pushing the favourite’s odds up, and now the underdog is just a point away from the game point.
However, accordingly to the Race Your Profits System, I can wait until the odds drift out even above the initial back odds, so there’s no reason at all to stress out at the moment. I simply keep on watching the market and the odds fluctuations.
The favourite player Simon manages to score the next two points and his odds once again drop down to the minimum profit level. I don’t even wait on him to break in this game – the previous scoring has been quite erratic and I don’t want to take unnecessary risks.
I’m placing the lay bet on Simon at the odds of 1.6 and it gets matched at 1.59. Nice 38 euro profit has been made – and if you want to achieve similar Betfair tennis trading results – just come to my website and subscribe to the 7 day Free Betfair trading video course!
