Hello and Happy New Year!
The new tennis trading season has started and before I’m starting to post new trading examples on this blog I’m going give you the last video in the video series about successful Betfair tennis trading:
During the last few weeks I’ve been telling you about many aspects impacting the tennis trading process:
Controlling Emotions
Getting Rid of Gambling
Technical Preparation
Managing Your Trading Bank
So this time the final aspect – business approach. To put it simply – you have to regard the whole tennis trading process as a business rather than something to kill your time. No rush, no unrealistic expectations, just step-by-step process.

What’s The Proper Staking Plan?

This is one of the most frequent questions I’m receiving in my inbox nearly on a daily basis – Paddy, what stakes should I be using when trading tennis on Betfair?
Well, watch this video and you’ll get the answers on this question then!
As you can imagine, trading staking plans differ between professional Betfair traders and novices. You just can’t start operating with 100 pound stakes right after you’ve opened the Betfair account – forget about it!
No matter how safe the whole trading process may seem to you, you definitely need to develop your trading technical skills first and then increase the stakes.
Don’t Drink And Trade!

Do you know what’s the easiest way of losing all your trading money and NOT make a single profitable trade?
It’s simple – have a few pints before you trade and invite your mates to see how you trade!
Another essential elements of a well managed Betfair tennis trading process are:
* Technical preparation
* Self-discipline
You really need to separate trading from leisure. Although Betfair trading CAN be time very well spent, it still requires strong nerves and concentration. In other words – things which are easy to lose focus on if you’re distracted by something else.
By no means I meant to scare you with the seriousness of Betfair tennis trading. It IS nice looking at your Betfair account after the trading session and see it grow. And it’s an amazing feeling when you’re withdrawing a few hundred from it!
Nonetheless, have a read or watch what I think about decent preparation before you start trading and risking your money.
And by the way – did you know real traders don’t look at the trading screen seeing money as the instant result to their trading activities?
Best of Luck,
Paddy
How To Empty Your Betfair Account

Hello Folks!
It’s me – Paddy – and this time I’m going to tell you some stuff about gambling. To be more precise – you’ll find out what it really takes to go bust and empty your Betfair account in no time!
You know, even though Betfair trading seems to be quite innocent and the very concept of greening out makes the risk factor insignificant, it’s still there. But I’m not talking about the actual risk when placing the bets and assessing the price fluctuations.
I’m talking about the little devil that whispers into your ear – ‘Hey bud, wait a bit longer, don’t close the trade with a loss! You can still make some profit here, don’t you see?’ And eventually you end up having lost even more than you could have! Does this situation look familiar to you? Then watch my video about getting rid of the gambling spirit – useful stuff for every Betfair tennis trader.

While I’m off-season now with some time left till Christmas, I decided to give you some advice on how to best approach the Betfair tennis trading. You know – the mind stuff, how not to lose your head and start gambling instead of trading and those sort of things.
I’ve received plenty of e-mails from my customers who are very concerned about one thing in general.
They can grasp all the tennis trading concepts and apply them in the real life. However, staying focused and calm even if you’re forced to accept losses seems to be the hardest thing of them all. And even if you don’t want to, you start placing completely stupid bets and eventually all your Betfair account is dry empty.
So this is the first video where I’m telling you about the importance of controlling your emotions while trading tennis on Betfair.
I’ll try to update these videos every week until the new tennis season begins in January and the Australian Open starts.
Talk to you soon,
Paddy
