Hi folks, how’s your Betfair trading?
In this short video I’ll show you a couple of trades executed on the match between Clement and Safin in Open 13 and you’ll clearly see the importance of the receiving player’s scored points in a tennis match and the effect it has on the odds.
Safin is the match’s favourite player and at the moment the score in the first set is 3:1 with Clement leading the game. Safin’s odds have increased and the current odds favour Clement. Just have a look right under the score table where it says that Clement broke in the fourth game. It’s an indicator that Clement is in a very good condition at the moment and as we can see after the yellow square appearing next to Clement’s name, he’s serving right now.
So what should this tell you? Well, since he broke in the last game and has already scored two points in this game, there’s a very good change he’ll score at least one more point in this game. So you’d probably say I should execute the trade by backing Clement and then laying him off, right?
