No Trading Tips Today

Trading Tips will be back tomorrow (Sunday) evening. There’s a rest day before the start of the Australian Open. It promises to be a great tournament – can Roger Federer win his 18th Grand Slam title? Many wrote him off last year but he still had the class, just losing out to Novak in A thrilling 5-setter in Wimbledon. Can Wawrinkla retain the Aussie crown? Will Djokovic win his 5th Australian Open since 2008? There are some who believe this can be Andy Murray’s year – all will be revealed!!

Serena Williams, unsurprisingly, is the favourite on the women’s side. Last year’s winner, Li Na has now retired. Williams form has been erratic, and it’s worth noting that the 5 times Australian Open Champ hasn’t won here in 5 years, so I won’t be putting too much money on her until we see some form. Radwanska just helped Poland win the Hopman Cup, beating Serena on the way for the first time. Having now added Martina Navratilova to her coaching staff, she might be good value. Sharapova is the second favourite and is seeking her 3rd Aussie Open title. Halep, Kvitova and Bouchard are the next favourites – it promises to be one of the most hard-fought titles in years.
