WOMENS:

1. 12:30 – Friedsam v Kasatkina

No doubt players like Kasatkina are truly the future of Women’s tennis. This girl can play very attacking and also has a very impressive serve and returns exceptionally well. While Friedsam is not so easy to play against, I agree that Kasatkina is the right favourite today.

2. 15:30 – Niculescu v Parmentier

Parmentier is quite a decent clay courter and is also the crowd favourite in this match. With Nicu always having issues with serve consistency, I suggest going for Parmentier at the start who is quite a solid returner of serves.

MENS:

3. 10:00 – Coric v Fritz

Fritz has already proven he can play on clay by performing well against a very in-form looking Stepanek twice at Madrid and Rome. Also he played pretty well at Nice, France a few days ago against Simon.

While Coric has more experience, Fritz has a much better serve and more power which will make this a tough task for the favourite.

4. 12:00 – Chung v Halys

Halys has played pretty well on Clay recently taking good players like Sousa to a deciding set at ATP Nice. Chung meanwhile, has lost 5 of his previous 6 matches.
