All times are UK/Irish and are subject to change, and all times are in 24hr format e.g., 01.00 = 1am and 16:00 = 4pm:
PLEASE NOTE, IF THERE ARE LIQUIDITY ISSUES, ALWAYS KEEP THE STAKES LOW
WTA MOSCOW:
1. 09:00 – Tsurenko v Schmiedlova
Form definitely favouring Schmiedlova here, who may also be the better server compared to Tsurenko. Suggest going for Schmied at the start..
—> Back Schmiedlova @1.75, Lay @1.4
2. 10:30 – Pennetta v Gavrilova
Eventhough Gavrilova knocked out a very tough Cornet in the previous match, Pennetta has to be the right favourite here with more consistency and experience.
Stick with Flavia at the beginning..
—> Back Pennetta @1.77, Lay @1.4
3. 16:30 – Koukalova v Kuznetsova –> HOT TIP
Kuznetsova has never lost to Koukalova. Also the fact that this is her home tournament, should make her the right favourite here. Definitely back her at the start..
—> Back Kuznetsova @1.22, Lay @1.06
WTA LUXEMBOURG:
4. 17:00 – Bacsinszky v Siegemund –> HOT TIP + NO STOP LOSS RECOMMENDED
Timea Bacsinszky looked back to her best at the recent Beijing tournament where she ended up as the runner-up. Suggesting to back her simply for that reason..
—> Back Bacsinszky @1.25, Lay @1.12
ATP STOCKHOLM:
5. 12:45 – Tomic v Baghdatis
Tomic was just too impressive at the Shanghai Masters last week. More reason to believe that he could do well here in Sweden. Stick to the Australian at the start..
—> Back Tomic @1.73, Lay @1.35
ATP MOSCOW:
6. 12:30 – Youzhny v Karatsev
Experience heavily favouring Youzhny here in his home tournament against his younger compatriot Karatsev. Stick to Youzh at the start as these courts are playing on the slower side that could be an advantage for the favourite..
—> Back Youzhny @1.41, Lay @1.18
7. 14:15 – Troicki v Gabashvili
The last few months have generally turned out to be good for the Russian Gabashvili. There is reason to believe this may not be a walk in the park for the Serbian Troicki.
—> Lay Troicki @1.7, Back @2.2
Some Terms Explained:
Back: Normal Stakes – use 10% of bank with Stop loss at 40%.
Back Heavy(BH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade. Use Stop Loss at 40% unless stated otherwise.
Lay: Normal stakes – use 10% of bank with Stop Loss at 40%.
Lay Heavy(LH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade. Use Stop Loss at 40% unless stated otherwise.
Likely 3 Setter – consider laying the winner of the first set.
Hot Tip – I have more confidence in these tips. However, use normal stake sizes.
No Stop Loss Suggested – Use of Stop Loss is not recommended for this tip. Use half Normal Stake.
Tips are deemed unsuccessful at 40% loss of stake, when stop loss is used
All odds shown with the tips are correct at time of publishing. Odds are often given several hours ahead of the event. If odds have changed, adjust your back/lay stake accordingly e.g. if I tip ‘Back at 1.5, Lay at 1.25’ – and back odds move to 1.55, adjust your lay odds to 1.3 – there are still 25 ticks between the back and lay odds.
Delay and Trade!! It’s OK to place your trades before the match starts, but in my opinion, waiting 2/3 games before placing your trades is the safest way to trade. This is advised in many of the articles below. To delay and trade will give you a good feel for the match. Delay and Trade is a MUST if you are Backing Heavy. Delaying is advised mostly for the women’s game, as early breaks of serve are more likely. Please read the relevant article below.
