Bad day for us as Venus didn’t take her early opportunities and lost the first set and somehow lost the match after being up a break twice in the final set. Nishikori on the other hand, was simply outclassed by Stan the Man.

Such a shame that this wasn’t successful as Stan did get the first break but served very poorly after that and lost the first set on a tie-break. I guess I was right that Djokovic was going to lose a set in this match as he lost 2 in the end.

Eventually the Serb won this on a 5th set thriller.
