WIMBLEDON DAY 4:
MEN:
1. 13:00 – Seppi v Coric
Experience and form favours Seppi here.
As well as Coric played against Stakhovsky, I don’t see him knocking out the Ital0ian today.
—> Back Seppi @1.29, lay @1.08
2. 15:15 – Monfils v Mannarino
Other than his injury against Seppi in ATP Halle, Monfils’ only loss in Grass was to Nadal at Stuttgart where he beat players like Kohlschreiber.
On paper, he should beat Mannarino comfortably.
—> Back Monfils @1.44, lay @1.18
WOMEN:
3. 11:30 – Govortsova v Cornet
Cornet absolutely hammered her previous opponent Konjuh in what many pundits thought would be a tough match. This could be another show of grass court experience for the French girl.
—> Back Cornet @1.75, lay @1.35
4. 13:00 – Bacsinszky v Soler-Espinosa —> HOT TIP
This is almost a sure bet for me, considering how well Bacsinszky played against Goerges.
—> Back Bacsinszky @1.16, lay @1.03
5. 13:30 – Dellacqua v Svitolina –> HOT TIP
I agree with Dellacqua being the favourite here, as she’s been extremely aggressive in recent matches, and serving really well.
Definitely suggesting to back her at the start hence..
—> Back Dellacqua @1.95, lay @!.5
6. 14:30 – Niculescu v Cepelova
Pretty surprised by these odds as Cepelova was magical agaisnt Halep.
Definitely worth laying Nicu here..
—> Lay Nicu @1.33, back @1.65
Good luck!
Some Terms Explained:
Back: Normal Stakes – use 10% of bank.
Back Heavy(BH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Lay: Normal stakes – use 10% of bank.
Lay Heavy(LH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Likely 3 Setter – consider laying the winner of the first set.
Hot Tip – I have more confidence in these tips. However, use normal stake sizes.
Tips are deemed unsuccessful at 40% loss of stake.
All odds shown with the tips are correct at time of publishing. Odds are often given several hours ahead of the event. If odds have changed, adjust your back/lay stake accordingly e.g. if I tip ‘Back at 1.5, Lay at 1.25’ – and back odds move to 1.55, adjust your lay odds to 1.3 – there are still 25 ticks between the back and lay odds.
Delay and Trade!! It’s OK to place your trades before the match starts, but in my opinion, waiting 2/3 games before placing your trades is the safest way to trade. This is advised in many of the articles below. To delay and trade will give you a good feel for the match. Delay and Trade is a MUST if you are Backing Heavy. Delaying is advised mostly for the women’s game, as early breaks of serve are more likely. Please read the relevant article below.
