PLEASE NOTE, IF THERE ARE LIQUIDITY ISSUES, ALWAYS KEEP THE STAKES LOW
ATP COUPE ROGERS: (HARD)
1. 17:30 – Chardy v Karlovic
Chardy has played well beating Mayer and Mahut but it’s fair to say that Karlo caused one of the biggest upsets so far by knocking out Raonic in 2 sets. Considering his superiority in the service department, I prefer going for the Croat at the start.
—> Back Karlo @1.58, Lay @1.3
WTA ROGERS CUP: (HARD)
2. 16:00 – Tsurenko v Witthoeft
Tsurenko hasn’t had an amazing season but her recent performances have been pretty solid. I do feel she is priced as the right favourite and considering she’s yet to a lose a set here in Canada, backing her must be the right strategy.
—> Back Tsurenko @1.56, Lay @1.25
3. 16:00 – Vinci v Gavrilova
Vinci does deserve credit for her wins over Baroni and Knapp but Gavrilova certainly had tougher opponents through Stosur and especially Safarova. Suggest backing the favourite as this one could be over in 2 sets.
—> Back Gavrilova @1.7, Lay @1.4
Good luck!
Some Terms Explained:

Back Heavy(BH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Lay: Normal stakes – use 10% of bank.
Lay Heavy(LH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Likely 3 Setter – consider laying the winner of the first set.
Hot Tip – I have more confidence in these tips. However, use normal stake sizes.
Tips are deemed unsuccessful at 40% loss of stake.
All odds shown with the tips are correct at time of publishing. Odds are often given several hours ahead of the event. If odds have changed, adjust your back/lay stake accordingly e.g. if I tip ‘Back at 1.5, Lay at 1.25’ – and back odds move to 1.55, adjust your lay odds to 1.3 – there are still 25 ticks between the back and lay odds.
Delay and Trade!! It’s OK to place your trades before the match starts, but in my opinion, waiting 2/3 games before placing your trades is the safest way to trade. This is advised in many of the articles below. To delay and trade will give you a good feel for the match. Delay and Trade is a MUST if you are Backing Heavy. Delaying is advised mostly for the women’s game, as early breaks of serve are more likely. Please read the relevant article below.
