HOT TIPS: Fel. Lopez, Monfils and Kuznetsova

Remember, not all matches given can be traded. It’s Ok to set up trades before a match and let them run if using small stakes but don’t risk it with larger stakes. When making a plan for your days trading and choosing the matches you want to trade, start with the Hot Tips and work around these. The Hot Tips have a slightly higher strike rate.

Good luck!

Some Terms Explained:

Back: Low Stakes – use 10% of bank.
Back Heavy(BH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Lay: Low stakes – use 10% of bank.
Lay Heavy(LH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Likely 3 Setter – consider laying the winner of the first set.
Hot Tip – I have more confidence in these tips. However, use normal stake sizes.

Tips are deemed unsuccessful at 40% loss of stake.

All odds shown with the tips are correct at time of publishing. Odds are often given several hours ahead of the event. If odds have changed, adjust your back/lay stake accordingly e.g. if I tip ‘Back at 1.5, Lay at 1.25’ – and back odds move to 1.6, adjust your lay odds to 1.35 – there are still 25 ticks between the back and lay odds.

Delay and Trade!! It’s OK to place your trades before the match starts, but in my opinion, waiting 2/3 games before placing your trades is the safest way to trade. This is advised in many of the articles below. To delay and trade will give you a good feel for the match. Delay and Trade is a MUST if you are Backing Heavy. Delaying is advised mostly for the women’s game, as early breaks of serve are more likely.  Please read the relevant article below.

Some folks have asked why I call the tips ‘Betfair Tennis Trading Tips’ and have asked if the tips can be used on other betting exchanges. I use Betfair for all my trading because Betfair has the best liquidity. All of my prices are taken from Betfair.
Betfair Tennis Trading gives you the best opportunities to make profits. You can use the trading tips on other exchanges – there may be small price differences – but these shouldn’t matter. If you decide to use a site other that Betfair for trading, make sure that the liquidity is there.
If you’re unsure about what liquidity is required, see question 17 on my FAQ section at https://tennis-trading-league.com/faq/

It needs a little bit of organisational brainwork, but it should be possible to bet all matches: 10 x 10% (back tipps) = 100% of bankroll.
And they are queued from 10.00 a.m. to 15.30 a. m. – recycling won money is a great thing to do 🙂

Recycling green is a great strategy if you get it right. Low risk and good reward. Trading at its best

Another day with profits when betting all games. I didn’t expect the Cuevas v Verdasco to be a five-setter and such a close result. But you never know exactly.
The Torro Flor v Rybarikova was pretty tough, wasn’t it? Or have you expected such a behaviour?

    Thanks again, Patrick!

    Chris

Hi Chris, yeah was a profitable day easily…I didn’t trade them all but I didn’t expect torro flor to lose the second set so easily after being so dominant in the first set. I thought before the match that she would win in two. But the tournament, especially on the womens side, has been full of surprises so I guess we shouldn’t be surprised by such a fightback. But she showed her class in the end and won the final set easily after being broken. Verdasco fought back well having been 2 sets down. Our tip was good because he broke first but after that Cuevas played very well until the third set.
      Patrick.
