LAY TIPS

MENS

6. 13:00 – Berdych v Agut

WOMENS

7. 15:00 – Parmentier v Barthel

Lay Barthel@1.38,back @1.8

(I feel Parmentier is good enough to knock out Barthel tomorrow. Nevertheless, control your stakes here..)

HOT TIPS:  Tsonga, Muguruza and possibly PARMENTIER!

Good luck!

Some Terms Explained:

Back: Low Stakes – use 10% of bank.
Back Heavy(BH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Lay: Low stakes – use 10% of bank.
Lay Heavy(LH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Likely 3 Setter – consider laying the winner of the first set.
Hot Tip – I have more confidence in these tips. However, use normal stake sizes.

Tips are deemed unsuccessful at 40% loss of stake.

All odds shown with the tips are correct at time of publishing. Odds are often given several hours ahead of the event. If odds have changed, adjust your back/lay stake accordingly e.g. if I tip ‘Back at 1.5, Lay at 1.25’ – and back odds move to 1.6, adjust your lay odds to 1.35 – there are still 25 ticks between the back and lay odds.

Delay and Trade!! It’s OK to place your trades before the match starts, but in my opinion, waiting 2/3 games before placing your trades is the safest way to trade. This is advised in many of the articles below. To delay and trade will give you a good feel for the match. Delay and Trade is a MUST if you are Backing Heavy. Delaying is advised mostly for the women’s game, as early breaks of serve are more likely.  Please read the relevant article below.

Some folks have asked why I call the tips ‘Betfair Tennis Trading Tips’ and have asked if the tips can be used on other betting exchanges. I use Betfair for all my trading because Betfair has the best liquidity. All of my prices are taken from Betfair.
Betfair Tennis Trading gives you the best opportunities to make profits. You can use the trading tips on other exchanges – there may be small price differences – but these shouldn’t matter. If you decide to use a site other that Betfair for trading, make sure that the liquidity is there.
If you’re unsure about what liquidity is required, see question 17 on my FAQ section at https://tennis-trading-league.com/faq/

Patrick, at which time do you wake up? It’s barely 6:30 a.m. your time and you already scanned today’s tennis matches?
Some great picks, let’s see what we’ll get out of it!
I added the Cibu v Stosur match, I expect nice swings in that match. Sam Stosur leads 4-0 in direct matches, but she was a little bit moody in her last games – could be a chance for Cibu, I hope…

Hi Christian..I had to do the tips very early yesterday..I often do them many hours in advance and then double check prices etc again before I post to make sure all is well. Stosur played well but I guess from your comment you went for Cibu?

  • Christian Dittrich Posted May 31, 2014 10:13 pm

Yep, I went for Cibu and saw a totally different Sam Stosur who showed great tennis. Now her balance is 5-0 to Cibu, although Cibu was more constant in recent weeks for my opinion.
All in all, I some money in that match. It needed some time until my brain checked that this game is going to drift away…
