Betfair Tennis Trading Tips ATP WTA: Friday 29th May

FRENCH OPEN DAY 6:

WOMEN:

1. 11:30 – Safarova v Lisicki

Even though she trails 1-3 in head to head, Safarova is technically more sound on Clay in my opinion. Even if this match goes to a decider, I feel she is more likely to come out on top.

—> Back Safa @1.48, lay @1.18

2. 13:30 – Muguruza v Kerber

While I think Kerber could be priced as the right favourite due to her overall form on Clay this year, this could turn out to be a pretty tough match for her as Muguruza is a super-aggressive player.

Suggesting to lay the German …

—> Lay Kerber @1.8, back @2.5

MENS:

3. 10:00 – Rosol v Gabashvili

No doubt Rosol has been amazing so far in Paris as he beat a very tough Bautista Agut in 3 sets previously. However, Gabashvili has also played extremely well knocking out both F.Lopez and Monaco in 3 sets. This is indeed going to be a pretty tough match to call.

Suggesting to Lay Rosol as I feel his serves may not work too well against the Russian Gabashvili ….

—> Lay Rosol @1.75, back @2.4

4. 15:00 – Tsonga v Andujar

Must say that even though this hasn’t been the best of years for Jo Wilfred Tsonga, he has played pretty well so far at home.
If he can keep up his serve consistency, this match may indeed finish pretty quickly.

—> Back Tsonga @1.35, lay @1.18

Some Terms Explained:

Back: Normal Stakes – use 10% of bank.
Back Heavy(BH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Lay: Normal stakes – use 10% of bank.
Lay Heavy(LH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Likely 3 Setter – consider laying the winner of the first set.
Hot Tip – I have more confidence in these tips. However, use normal stake sizes.

Tips are deemed unsuccessful at 40% loss of stake.

All odds shown with the tips are correct at time of publishing. Odds are often given several hours ahead of the event. If odds have changed, adjust your back/lay stake accordingly e.g. if I tip ‘Back at 1.5, Lay at 1.25’ – and back odds move to 1.55, adjust your lay odds to 1.3 – there are still 25 ticks between the back and lay odds.

Delay and Trade!! It’s OK to place your trades before the match starts, but in my opinion, waiting 2/3 games before placing your trades is the safest way to trade. This is advised in many of the articles below. To delay and trade will give you a good feel for the match. Delay and Trade is a MUST if you are Backing Heavy. Delaying is advised mostly for the women’s game, as early breaks of serve are more likely.  Please read the relevant article below.

Help and Advice: Tennis Trading Tip – Successful or not?

Some folks have asked why I call the tips ‘Betfair Tennis Trading Tips’ and have asked if the tips can be used on other betting exchanges. I use Betfair for all my trading because Betfair has the best liquidity. All of my prices are taken from Betfair.
Betfair Tennis Trading gives you the best opportunities to make profits. You can use the trading tips on other exchanges – there may be small price differences – but these shouldn’t matter. If you decide to use a site other that Betfair for trading, make sure that the liquidity is there.
