Betfair Tennis Trading Tips ATP WTA: Friday 5th June

MEN:

1. 12:00 – Tsonga v Wawrinka

No doubt Jo-Wilfred Tsonga has played his heart out in this tournament as he beat a huge favourite like Nishikori to set up this semi-final against Stan Wawrinka.

While odds may look a bit surprising here, I feel this market is rightly priced considering Stan blew away Federer who didn’t manage to break his compatriot once!

I suggest to go for Stan at the start in what could emerge as a thrilling match so consider laying him at low odds of 1.05 and below, after you’ve greened out..

After all, Tsonga is the home favourite here and a comeback win must not entirely be ignored!

2. 14:00 – Novak Djokovic v Andy Murray —> HOT TIP

It’s so unfortunate for Murray to end up in Novak’s side of the draw as he really deserves to be in this year’s final after brutally outplaying a really tough player like David Ferrer.

However, it must be said, I can’t see any other possibility here other than a straightforward win for the Serbian World no.1.
At worst, this could be 4 sets, but Djokovic is more than good enough to finish this off in 3!

Some Terms Explained:

Back: Normal Stakes – use 10% of bank.
Back Heavy(BH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Lay: Normal stakes – use 10% of bank.
Lay Heavy(LH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Likely 3 Setter – consider laying the winner of the first set.
Hot Tip – I have more confidence in these tips. However, use normal stake sizes.

Tips are deemed unsuccessful at 40% loss of stake.

All odds shown with the tips are correct at time of publishing. Odds are often given several hours ahead of the event. If odds have changed, adjust your back/lay stake accordingly e.g. if I tip ‘Back at 1.5, Lay at 1.25’ – and back odds move to 1.55, adjust your lay odds to 1.3 – there are still 25 ticks between the back and lay odds.

Delay and Trade!! It’s OK to place your trades before the match starts, but in my opinion, waiting 2/3 games before placing your trades is the safest way to trade. This is advised in many of the articles below. To delay and trade will give you a good feel for the match. Delay and Trade is a MUST if you are Backing Heavy. Delaying is advised mostly for the women’s game, as early breaks of serve are more likely.  Please read the relevant article below.

Some folks have asked why I call the tips ‘Betfair Tennis Trading Tips’ and have asked if the tips can be used on other betting exchanges. I use Betfair for all my trading because Betfair has the best liquidity. All of my prices are taken from Betfair.
Betfair Tennis Trading gives you the best opportunities to make profits. You can use the trading tips on other exchanges – there may be small price differences – but these shouldn’t matter. If you decide to use a site other that Betfair for trading, make sure that the liquidity is there.
