PLEASE NOTE, IF THERE ARE LIQUIDITY ISSUES, ALWAYS KEEP THE STAKES LOW
WTA NOTTINGHAM:
1. 11:00 – Niculescu v Konjuh
Monica Niculescu has had four consecutive deciding sets in this tournament, while the favourite Konjuh won all her matches in 2 sets.
Though Konjuh has been dominant here in Nottingham, it’s fair to say Niculescu had much tougher opponents, the most recent one, Aga Radwanska.
I am suggesting to lay Konjuh here as I feel Niculescu can win this in 2 sets if she plays as well as she did against Radwanska.
—> Lay Konjuh @1.9, back @2.5
WTA BIRMINGHAM:
2. 11:00 – Mchale v Cornet
Head to head stats read 1-1 between these two with both matches going to deciding sets.
Suggesting to lay Cornet as I feel the first set will have a few fluctuations..
—> Lay Cornet @1.61, back @1.9
3. 12:30 – Broady v Tomljanovic
They haven’t yet faced each other but it’s fair to say Tomljanovic is much more experienced than Broady.
Suggesting to go for the favourite hence..
—> Back Tomljanovic @1.4, lay @1.18
ATP QUEENS (AEGON CHAMPIONSHIPS):
4. 14:15 – Anderson v Hewitt
Hewitt started this season disastrously and has won just 1 match in 8 attempts! With that sort of form, you must go for the big serving South African here..
—> Back Anderson @1.42, lay @1.18
5. 17:45 – Querrey v Dimitrov
Querrey’s form is definitely a question at the moment. With Dimitrov playing to defend his title here at Queens, you can’t really go against him today..
—> Back Dimitrov @1.31, lay @1.16
ATP HALLE:
6. 11:00 – Young v Coric –> HOT TIP
While Coric is definitely a hot talent and moving in the right direction as a player, he is yet to win a Grass court match in ATP. In fact his most recent match against Troicki at Stuttgart, ended in a disastrous 6-2 6-0 thrashing!
Even with Young’s poor form, I feel experience will favour the American, who is generally a decent grass courter.
—> Back Young @1.8, lay @1.4
7. 14:15 – Falla v Lacko
Falla’s game on grass is generally pretty good. Even with a 2-0 loss record against Lacko in head to head stats, I think the bookies have rightly priced him as the favourite here.
—> Back Falla @1.52, lay @1.25
Good luck!
Some Terms Explained:
Back: Normal Stakes – use 10% of bank.
Back Heavy(BH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Lay: Normal stakes – use 10% of bank.
Lay Heavy(LH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Likely 3 Setter – consider laying the winner of the first set.
Hot Tip – I have more confidence in these tips. However, use normal stake sizes.
Tips are deemed unsuccessful at 40% loss of stake.
All odds shown with the tips are correct at time of publishing. Odds are often given several hours ahead of the event. If odds have changed, adjust your back/lay stake accordingly e.g. if I tip ‘Back at 1.5, Lay at 1.25’ – and back odds move to 1.55, adjust your lay odds to 1.3 – there are still 25 ticks between the back and lay odds.
Delay and Trade!! It’s OK to place your trades before the match starts, but in my opinion, waiting 2/3 games before placing your trades is the safest way to trade. This is advised in many of the articles below. To delay and trade will give you a good feel for the match. Delay and Trade is a MUST if you are Backing Heavy. Delaying is advised mostly for the women’s game, as early breaks of serve are more likely. Please read the relevant article below.
