All times are UK/Irish and are subject to change, and all times are in 24hr format e.g., 01.00 = 1am and 16:00 = 4pm:

PLEASE NOTE, IF THERE ARE LIQUIDITY ISSUES, ALWAYS KEEP THE STAKES LOW

WTA NOTTINGHAM:

1. 18:00 – Diyas v Vickery

Diyas is going to be a much tougher opponent than Wang, whom Vickery beat last match. Go for the favourite here..

—> Back Diyas @1.35, lay @1.18

WTA TOPSHELF:

2. 11:30 – Uytvanck v Bencic

Van Uytvanck’s form coming into this match has been simply breathtaking. Suggesting to lay Bencic as I can see a certain fluctuation in odds early on..

—> Lay Bencic @1.72, back @2.5

3. 15:30 – Hlavackova v Jankovic

Janko had a slow start yesterday against Smitkova, but still managed to storm back to win in 2 sets. While Hlavackova is definitely a decent doubles player, her singles performances this season haven’t been too impressive. Go for the favourite hence..

—> Back Jankovic @1.5, lay @1.2

ATP TOPSHELF:

4. 10:00 – Agut v Mahut

Disagreeing with the odds here as Mahut is not only a great grass courter, but beat a couple of decent players like Hewitt and de Schepper coming into this match. This will be a tough match for Agut in my opinion.

—> Lay Agut @1.84, back @2.66

5. 13:00 – Sousa v Marchenko

Extremely impressive performance by Sousa in the last match to knock out a tough opponent like Istomin. Agreeing with the odds here as I feel Sousa should wrap this one up quickly.

—> Back Sousa @1.5, lay @1.2

Good luck!

Some Terms Explained:

Back: Normal Stakes – use 10% of bank.
Back Heavy(BH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Lay: Normal stakes – use 10% of bank.
Lay Heavy(LH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Likely 3 Setter – consider laying the winner of the first set.
Hot Tip – I have more confidence in these tips. However, use normal stake sizes.

Tips are deemed unsuccessful at 40% loss of stake.

All odds shown with the tips are correct at time of publishing. Odds are often given several hours ahead of the event. If odds have changed, adjust your back/lay stake accordingly e.g. if I tip ‘Back at 1.5, Lay at 1.25’ – and back odds move to 1.55, adjust your lay odds to 1.3 – there are still 25 ticks between the back and lay odds.

Delay and Trade!! It’s OK to place your trades before the match starts, but in my opinion, waiting 2/3 games before placing your trades is the safest way to trade. This is advised in many of the articles below. To delay and trade will give you a good feel for the match. Delay and Trade is a MUST if you are Backing Heavy. Delaying is advised mostly for the women’s game, as early breaks of serve are more likely.  Please read the relevant article below.

Some folks have asked why I call the tips ‘Betfair Tennis Trading Tips’ and have asked if the tips can be used on other betting exchanges. I use Betfair for all my trading because Betfair has the best liquidity. All of my prices are taken from Betfair.
