Betfair Tennis Trading Tips ATP WTA: Thursday 21st May

These Trading Tips are published when all have been played – in order to get Today’s Tips, join by clicking here and I’ll mail them to you!!

All times are UK/Irish and are subject to change, and all times are in 24hr format e.g., 01.00 = 1am and 16:00 = 4pm:

PLEASE NOTE, IF THERE ARE LIQUIDITY ISSUES, ALWAYS KEEP THE STAKES LOW

ATP GENEVA:

1. 15:30 – Wawrinka v Delbonis

Wawrinka’s form is pretty decent at the moment, beating players like Monaco and even Nadal in Rome and only losing to Roger Federer there. As well as Delbonis can play on Clay, I feel your money should be on the home favourite today.

—> Back Wawrinka @1.29, lay @1.09

WTA STRASBOURG:

2. 10:00 – Tomljanovic v Stosur

Have to go with Stosur here as her form in Madrid was pretty good and also, her first match here at Strasbourg was a thorough demolition job against a very talented Monica Puig. She is the right favourite here..

—> Back Stosur @1.35, lay @1.14

3. 14:00 – Keys v Mladenovic

Keys is pretty lucky to be alive in this tournament as Lucic Baroni came very close to knocking her out yesterday. While she does possess the better serves, Mladenovic does have a very sound overall game.

I think this could be another tough match for Keys..

—> Lay Keys @1.56, back @2.1

WTA NURNBERG:

4. 14:00 – Knapp v Putintseva

I must say Knapp has played some extremely solid Tennis on Clay throughout this season. In fact she has played 7 matches and won 5 of them with both the losses coming in deciding sets against Svitolina and Kvitova (a match she should have won!).

Definitely fancying her to play well here..

—> Back Knapp @1.52, lay @1.2

Good luck!

Some Terms Explained:

Back: Normal Stakes – use 10% of bank.
Back Heavy(BH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Lay: Normal stakes – use 10% of bank.
Lay Heavy(LH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Likely 3 Setter – consider laying the winner of the first set.
Hot Tip – I have more confidence in these tips. However, use normal stake sizes.

Tips are deemed unsuccessful at 40% loss of stake.

All odds shown with the tips are correct at time of publishing. Odds are often given several hours ahead of the event. If odds have changed, adjust your back/lay stake accordingly e.g. if I tip ‘Back at 1.5, Lay at 1.25’ – and back odds move to 1.55, adjust your lay odds to 1.3 – there are still 25 ticks between the back and lay odds.

Delay and Trade!! It’s OK to place your trades before the match starts, but in my opinion, waiting 2/3 games before placing your trades is the safest way to trade. This is advised in many of the articles below. To delay and trade will give you a good feel for the match. Delay and Trade is a MUST if you are Backing Heavy. Delaying is advised mostly for the women’s game, as early breaks of serve are more likely.  Please read the relevant article below.

Help and Advice: Tennis Trading Tip – Successful or not?

Some folks have asked why I call the tips ‘Betfair Tennis Trading Tips’ and have asked if the tips can be used on other betting exchanges. I use Betfair for all my trading because Betfair has the best liquidity. All of my prices are taken from Betfair.
Betfair Tennis Trading gives you the best opportunities to make profits. You can use the trading tips on other exchanges – there may be small price differences – but these shouldn’t matter. If you decide to use a site other that Betfair for trading, make sure that the liquidity is there.
If you’re unsure about what liquidity is required, see question 17 on my FAQ section at https://tennis-trading-league.com/faq/
