All times are UK/Irish and are subject to change, and all times are in 24hr format e.g., 01.00 = 1am and 16:00 = 4pm:

PLEASE NOTE, IF THERE ARE LIQUIDITY ISSUES, ALWAYS KEEP THE STAKES LOW

WTA AEGON:

1. 11:00 – Makarova v Konta

While Konta has put in a good performance on Grass recently, Makarova is an immensely experienced opponent. I have to favour the Russian here who put up a decent performance at the French Open.

—> Back Makarova @1.5, lay @1.2

2. 15:00 – Kerber v Vandeweghe

Kerber’s consistency and form is pretty spectacular currently. Definitely opting for the German who just won the Birmingham title.

—> Back Kerber @1.4, lay @1.18

3. 16:30 – Gavrilova v Giorgi

If Giorgi’s serve stats remain as consistent, she could be up to something in Wimbledon next week. Suggesting to back the free-swinging Italian here..

—> Back Giorgi @1.45, lay @1.25

ATP AEGON:

4. 14:30 – Troicki v Stakhovsky —> HOT TIP

Troicki’s form has been pretty amazing on Grass losing only to Rafa Nadal at Stuttgart and Murray at Queens. I’m surprised the odds are this high on him.

The right trade is definitely to back him ..

—> Back Troicki @1.63, lay @1.35

5. 18:00 – Granollers v Simon

Simon beat 3 solid players at Queens – Goffin, Kokkinakis and the big serving Raonic. While the first two casualties were a possibility, Raonic was an incredibly tough opponent and hence a shock upset.

Have to go for the Frenchman here for his overall performance on Grass so far..

—> Back Simon @1.35, lay @1.16

Good luck!

Some Terms Explained:

Back: Normal Stakes – use 10% of bank.
Back Heavy(BH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Lay: Normal stakes – use 10% of bank.
Lay Heavy(LH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Likely 3 Setter – consider laying the winner of the first set.
Hot Tip – I have more confidence in these tips. However, use normal stake sizes.

Tips are deemed unsuccessful at 40% loss of stake.

All odds shown with the tips are correct at time of publishing. Odds are often given several hours ahead of the event. If odds have changed, adjust your back/lay stake accordingly e.g. if I tip ‘Back at 1.5, Lay at 1.25’ – and back odds move to 1.55, adjust your lay odds to 1.3 – there are still 25 ticks between the back and lay odds.

Delay and Trade!! It’s OK to place your trades before the match starts, but in my opinion, waiting 2/3 games before placing your trades is the safest way to trade. This is advised in many of the articles below. To delay and trade will give you a good feel for the match. Delay and Trade is a MUST if you are Backing Heavy. Delaying is advised mostly for the women’s game, as early breaks of serve are more likely.  Please read the relevant article below.

Some folks have asked why I call the tips ‘Betfair Tennis Trading Tips’ and have asked if the tips can be used on other betting exchanges. I use Betfair for all my trading because Betfair has the best liquidity. All of my prices are taken from Betfair.
Betfair Tennis Trading gives you the best opportunities to make profits. You can use the trading tips on other exchanges – there may be small price differences – but these shouldn’t matter. If you decide to use a site other that Betfair for trading, make sure that the liquidity is there.
If you’re unsure about what liquidity is required, see question 17 on my FAQ section at https://tennis-trading-league.com/faq/
