All times are UK/Irish and are subject to change, and all times are in 24hr format e.g., 01.00 = 1am and 16:00 = 4pm:

PLEASE NOTE, IF THERE ARE LIQUIDITY ISSUES, ALWAYS KEEP THE STAKES LOW

ATP MOROCCO (CLAY):

1. 11:00 – Haider-Maurer v Struff

Struff’s form has generally been poor coming into this tournament. Considering this is a clay court event, I would definitely pick Haider-Maurer, who had a really good tournament at Rio de Janeiro in February, where he beat very good clay courters like Ramos, Robredo and home favourite Souza.

Go for Haider here..

—> Back Haider @1.7, lay @1.34

WTA KATOWICE:

2. 12:30 – Flipkens v Beck

Nothing to read in terms of form, as both players have been rather poor coming into this tournament at Katowice, Poland.

However, Beck is more of an aggressive player and doesn’t rely on just defence. I’m agreeing with the odds as I feel Beck should be the slight favourite and is generally a quick starter.

—> Back Beck @1.83, lay @1.45

— KEEP THE STAKES LOW OR MEDIUM HERE —

3. 19:15 – A.Radwanska v Wickmayer —> HOT TIP

This is Aga Radwanska territory and I can’t see Wickmayer doing anything much to trouble her. Also Aga leads Wickmayer 3-1 in head to head.

Your money must be on Aga today!

—> Back Aga Radwanska @1.17, lay @1.08

ATP HOUSTON (CLAY):

4. 17:00 – Chardy v Lajovic

Lajovic is a bit of an underdog tomorrow, something that I don’t quite agree with, especially as Chardy’s favourite surface is definitely not clay!

The better reason to favour Lajovic here is that his form on Clay hasn’t been bad, as he played exceptionally well in Sao Paulo beating Verdasco and Andujar which is not easy by any means!

Also considering the fact that Chardy hasn’t played a clay court since July 2014, I think this could indeed turn out to be a great bet!

—> Lay Chardy @1.45, back @2

WTA FAMILY CIRCLE CUP:

5. 16:00 – Buyukakcay v Arruabarrena-Vecino —> HOT TIP

Vecino is a rather under-rated Clay Courter who might have a good run in this tournament. Her most recent clay court tournament was ITF Bogota which she ended up winning beating a tough J.Larsson in the final. I am favouring her to do well against Buyukakcay tomorrow who hasn’t made a great impression on Clay yet!

—> Back A.Vecino @1.53, lay @1.24

** STILL EARLY DAYS FOR THESE TOURNAMENTS SO MY GENERAL ADVICE IS TO TRADE WITH LOWER STAKES **

Good luck!

Some Terms Explained:

Back: Normal Stakes – use 10% of bank.
Back Heavy(BH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Lay: Normal stakes – use 10% of bank.
Lay Heavy(LH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Likely 3 Setter – consider laying the winner of the first set.
Hot Tip – I have more confidence in these tips. However, use normal stake sizes.

Tips are deemed unsuccessful at 40% loss of stake.

All odds shown with the tips are correct at time of publishing. Odds are often given several hours ahead of the event. If odds have changed, adjust your back/lay stake accordingly e.g. if I tip ‘Back at 1.5, Lay at 1.25’ – and back odds move to 1.55, adjust your lay odds to 1.3 – there are still 25 ticks between the back and lay odds.

Delay and Trade!! It’s OK to place your trades before the match starts, but in my opinion, waiting 2/3 games before placing your trades is the safest way to trade. This is advised in many of the articles below. To delay and trade will give you a good feel for the match. Delay and Trade is a MUST if you are Backing Heavy. Delaying is advised mostly for the women’s game, as early breaks of serve are more likely.  Please read the relevant article below.
