These tips are published when all have been played – in order to get today’s tips, join by clicking here and I’ll mail them to you!! To see stats and results, please click on the ‘TRADING STATS’ link above.

All times are UK/Irish and are subject to change, and all times are in 24hr format e.g., 01.00 = 1am and 16:00 = 4pm:

PLEASE NOTE, IF THERE ARE LIQUIDITY ISSUES, ALWAYS KEEP THE STAKES LOW

BNP PARIBAS:

MEN:

1. 18:00 – Lopez v Nishikori

Since losing to Stan Wawrinka at the Australian Open, Kei Nishikori has lost just 1 match in his last 13, which was the final of the Acapulco tournament against David Ferrer. So his form has been pretty good.
Moreover Lopez had quite a few 3 setters already. If his serves aren’t spot on today, he is likely to get punished by Nishi who is a rather big favourite here..

—> Back Nishi @1.26, lay @1.1

2. 23:15 – Tomic v Kokkinakis

The underdog Kokkinakis has had two big workouts already through Garcia Lopez and Juan Monaco in his earlier matches while Tomic has breezed through his matches against Coric and more importantly, Ferrer.

I am with the bookies here as Tomic will be hard to beat!

—> Back Tomic @1.36, lay @1.14

WOMEN:

3. 20:00 – Halep v Suarez Navarro

Suarez Navarro beat a rather sloppy looking Watson yesterday, in which she had injury issues. Not really sure how she managed to win that match, especially the first set.

Halep though, has been super consistent throughout this tournament and played very well against Pliskova yesterday. I am favouring the favourite to shine!

—> Back Halep @1.33, lay @1.16

4. 02:00 – Serena v Bacsinszky

Odds are probably right on the favourite Serena, as she was really impressive against Sloane Stephens after losing the first set yesterday. However, there may be slight hope for Bacsinszky – Serena’s serves seemed to be dodgy at the start. If she can capitalize on the returns, the underdog might pull off something miraculous.

I wouldn’t normally bet against Serena but Bacsinszky’s amazing winning streak deserve some credit so choosing to lay against Serena.

This tip has it’s risks so I am strictly advising to control your stakes here.

—> Lay Serena @1.16, back @1.4

Good luck!

Some Terms Explained:

Back: Normal Stakes – use 10% of bank.
Back Heavy(BH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Lay: Normal stakes – use 10% of bank.
Lay Heavy(LH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Likely 3 Setter – consider laying the winner of the first set.
Hot Tip – I have more confidence in these tips. However, use normal stake sizes.

Tips are deemed unsuccessful at 40% loss of stake.

All odds shown with the tips are correct at time of publishing. Odds are often given several hours ahead of the event. If odds have changed, adjust your back/lay stake accordingly e.g. if I tip ‘Back at 1.5, Lay at 1.25’ – and back odds move to 1.55, adjust your lay odds to 1.3 – there are still 25 ticks between the back and lay odds.

Delay and Trade!! It’s OK to place your trades before the match starts, but in my opinion, waiting 2/3 games before placing your trades is the safest way to trade. This is advised in many of the articles below. To delay and trade will give you a good feel for the match. Delay and Trade is a MUST if you are Backing Heavy. Delaying is advised mostly for the women’s game, as early breaks of serve are more likely.  Please read the relevant article below.
