FRENCH OPEN DAY 11:
WOMEN:
1. 13:00 – Bacsinszky v Uytvanck
No doubt Petra Kvitova was a tough challenge for Timea Bacsinszky, who has played some exceptional tennis here in Paris.
However van Uytvanck may prove to be a much tougher threat than the bookies predict in this match. I was very impressed with how well she returned serves and played with a thoroughly aggressive mentality. If she can stick to that gameplan, there may be a chance for the Belgian here after all.
Opting to lay Bacsinszky here but suggesting to keep the stakes to low or medium..
—> Lay Bacsinszky @1.26, back @1.55
MEN:
2. 14:30 – Murray v Ferrer –> HOT TIP
In my opinion, Murray had tougher challenges than David Ferrer through Sousa, Kyrgios and Chardy and he pretty much dominated all of them.
It’s a bit surprising to see Andy priced as the favourite with odds of 1.56, but I believe its a fair assessment of how well the Scot has played on Clay this season.
The real French Open story for Andy Murray starts tomorrow..I’m with him here..
–> Back Murray @1.56, lay @1.2
3. 14:30 – Djokovic v Nadal —> HOT TIP
Match of the day!
Match of the tournament !
Match of the year!
Maybe even Match of this Decade?
Call it what you want, but this is the match you must watch!
Novak is obviously priced as the favourite due to his incredible run on every surface this year where he has been almost unbeatable! Above everything, his fitness levels are spot on coming into this match and he definitely must believe that he can finally crack the ‘Rafa Code’, something he has never managed to do in Roland Garros.
I must agree with the markets here but do not be surprised if this ends in a 5 setter so suggesting to lay Djokovic at low prices of 1.07 and below, provided you greened out…
—> Back Djokovic @1.42, lay @1.16
Good luck!
Some Terms Explained:
Back: Normal Stakes – use 10% of bank.
Back Heavy(BH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Lay: Normal stakes – use 10% of bank.
Lay Heavy(LH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Likely 3 Setter – consider laying the winner of the first set.
Hot Tip – I have more confidence in these tips. However, use normal stake sizes.
Tips are deemed unsuccessful at 40% loss of stake.
All odds shown with the tips are correct at time of publishing. Odds are often given several hours ahead of the event. If odds have changed, adjust your back/lay stake accordingly e.g. if I tip ‘Back at 1.5, Lay at 1.25’ – and back odds move to 1.55, adjust your lay odds to 1.3 – there are still 25 ticks between the back and lay odds.
Delay and Trade!! It’s OK to place your trades before the match starts, but in my opinion, waiting 2/3 games before placing your trades is the safest way to trade. This is advised in many of the articles below. To delay and trade will give you a good feel for the match. Delay and Trade is a MUST if you are Backing Heavy. Delaying is advised mostly for the women’s game, as early breaks of serve are more likely. Please read the relevant article below.
