Hi Patrick, I read a lot about different tennis trading strategies such as back the server and lay the server. Or back the player who just lost the serve, but what if they lose serve again? Do you recommend any of these strategies and which one in your opinion is most profitable? I understand that if we keep backing server and he loses his serve we lose quite a bit of money and if we lay server and he hold the serve we also lose, but I presume they must be good strategies as lots of people use them. What are your thoughts? Thanx.
Hi Silvana. Strategies are not that simple. Yes these can be very good strategies but, for example, you need to know the acceptable odds range in which you should execute such a trade. You need a high strike rate combined with acceptable returns on each of the winning trades to offset the losses from the losing trades!
There are 4 strategies on my TTL course which have all of this information, and are effective strategies. I’m pretty sure you own a copy!? As a lifetime member to my tips service, you should have it…
Patrick.
