ATP APIA SYDNEY:
1. 03:15 – Andujar v Nieminen
While Andujar is made for Clay, Jarkko Nieminen’s game works best on Hard Courts. While the head to head between these two players is pointing to a less significant looking 1-0 lead for Jarkko, it’s important that this match was played in late 2014 and may be indicative of how this match might go after all.
Back Nieminen @1.54, lay @1.25
2. 05:45 – Groth v Muller
Groth has vastly improved in the last few months and knocked out some very decent players in the recent Brisbane tournament. If he can serve as consistently as he has done so far, I’m fancying the Australian to get past Muller..
–> Back Groth @1.8, lay @1.45
WTA APIA SYDNEY:
3. 02:00 – Navarro v Makarova:
It’s definitely worth noting that Makarova won against Svitolina in straight sets coming into this match while Suarez Navarro had to dig deep against Lisicki.
It’s very possible this maybe a tight one to call after all, as the odds indicate, however, with the current form, you’ve to give Makarova a slight edge in my opinion.
Lay the Spaniard who is the slight favourite..
Lay Navarro @1.91, back @2.6
Some Terms Explained:
Back: Normal Stakes – use 10% of bank.
Back Heavy(BH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Lay: Normal stakes – use 10% of bank.
Lay Heavy(LH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Likely 3 Setter – consider laying the winner of the first set.
Hot Tip – I have more confidence in these tips. However, use normal stake sizes.
Tips are deemed unsuccessful at 40% loss of stake.
All odds shown with the tips are correct at time of publishing. Odds are often given several hours ahead of the event. If odds have changed, adjust your back/lay stake accordingly e.g. if I tip ‘Back at 1.5, Lay at 1.25’ – and back odds move to 1.55, adjust your lay odds to 1.3 – there are still 25 ticks between the back and lay odds.
Delay and Trade!! It’s OK to place your trades before the match starts, but in my opinion, waiting 2/3 games before placing your trades is the safest way to trade. This is advised in many of the articles below. To delay and trade will give you a good feel for the match. Delay and Trade is a MUST if you are Backing Heavy. Delaying is advised mostly for the women’s game, as early breaks of serve are more likely. Please read the relevant article below.

Betfair Tennis Trading gives you the best opportunities to make profits. You can use the trading tips on other exchanges – there may be small price differences – but these shouldn’t matter. If you decide to use a site other that Betfair for trading, make sure that the liquidity is there.
