Good luck!

Some Terms Explained:

Back: Low Stakes – use 10% of bank.
Back Heavy(BH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion.
Lay: Low stakes – use 10% of bank.
Lay Heavy(LH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion.
Likely 3 Setter – Worth considering laying the winner (or backing the loser) of the first set.
Hot Tip – I have slightly more confidence in these tips. However, use normal stake sizes.

Tips are deemed unsuccessful at 40% loss of stake.

All odds shown with the tips are correct at time of publishing. Odds are often given several hours ahead of the event. If odds have changed, adjust your back/lay stake accordingly e.g. if I tip ‘Back at 1.5, Lay at 1.25’ – and back odds move to 1.6, adjust your lay odds to 1.35 – there are still 25 ticks between the back and lay odds.

Delay and Trade!! It’s OK to place your trades before the match starts, but in my opinion, waiting 2/3 games before placing your trades is the safest way to trade. This is advised in many of the articles below. To delay and trade will give you a good feel for the match. Delay and Trade is a MUST if you are Backing Heavy. Delaying is advised mostly for the women’s game, as early breaks of serve are more likely.  Please read the relevant article below.

    What went on there?
Duque-Marino v Stephens, Kudryavetseva v Irigoyen and Giraldo v Ebden shifted to Tuesday?

      Hi Christian
Yeah seems to have happened that way…will find out why soon…

  • Christian Dittrich Posted April 7, 2014 8:22 pm

Hey Patrick, what’s going on in the Bemelmans match in the moment? Harrison didn’t get a single chance? The bottom line of his odds have been 1.26 – 10 ticks away from greening. That’s a lot, isn’t it?
I just want to increase my understanding for the market, it’s not my intention to fingerpoint on you, Patrick! If so, I apologize for that, please excuse my bad English.

    Chris

Hi Christian – no need to apologise! All commnts welcome!
I am not sure what you mean by the bottom line was 1.26 on Harrison. Do you mean his odds shrunk to 1.26? He was very poor in the first set to be honest. The tip was definitely unsuccessful even though Harrison managed to win. Indeed, this was a very weird match!

    Hello Patrick,
yes, I meant that the lowest odds for him were 1.26 before they raised to the sky. The match seems to have been crazy.
So the gamblers would have won this match, but I took a red out (40% rule). Right?

    Chris

Hi Christian..yes you were right to take the loss in this case…Harrison was very bad in the first set…
