Del Potro showed signs of injury I felt yesterday. If that continues, he may lose today!

2. 19:30 – Nadal v Berdych

I feel rather confident on Nadal going through..However I advise keeping the stakes low here..

3. 00:00 – Serena v Li Na

In the last tournament Serena won, the only player I felt would have a chance to beat her was Li Na. However Li, having been knocked out by Cirstea, didn’t make that happen. This time around however these two are colliding and I can’t wait to see this match!

If there is one player who has given Serena a good fight consistently, it is Li Na! These 2 have faced each other 9 times which included a walk-over in Li Na’s favour. Serena has won 7 of those..However there were many tie-breaks in their meetings which says Li Na can push Serena a bit. What is also worth noting is the fact that, the only win Li has, is in the 2008 Stuttgart when Serena thrashed her 6-0 in the first set. Final score : 6-0, 1-6, 4-6 to Li!

Indeed this maybe a 2 set win for Serena, but for me, Li Na is never an easy player to beat, hence laying Serena at the start sounds better.. However do keep the stakes low…

4. 01:15 – Jankovic v Azarenka

After seeing Azarenka beating Wozniacki yesterday I feel this one is rather easier to predict..For me, Wozniacki looked better than she has in a long time, and Azarenka still dominated her..
