ATP SHANGHAI:

1. 6:00 – Berdych v Karlovic –> HOT TIP

Berdych, I feel is too good of a player to lose to Karlovic. Definitely back him here..

2. 6:00 – Jaziri v Simon

Simon did cause an upset by beating Wawrinka in 3 sets. Jaziri is hence a pretty good underdog. However, I think Jaziri’s win over Donald Young was not an easy win hence suggesting to lay the Frenchman here who is not the best of servers.

3. 8:00 – Benneteau v Sock

Julien is probably the better player here. Sock did beat Nishikori but I do feel going for Benneteau is the right strategy due to his overall game strengths. Keep the stakes low though..

4. 11:30 – Isner v Lopez

Lopez played very well against Nadal earlier. Likely tie-breaks in this ‘close to call’ match. I favour the spaniard who looks to be finding some much needed form.

WTA JAPAN:

5. 4:00 – Diyas v Arruabarrena –> HOT TIP

BACK HEAVY!

I really fancy Diyas beating Arrua tomorrow. This girl is an excellent hard court player whose overall game is better than her opponent’s.

6. 4:30 – Aoyama v Davis

Davis was extremely lucky to win in her last match. I feel she is likely to get punished if she doesn’t serve well today as Aoyama looks to be a tough challenge.

WTA TIANJIN:

7. 6:30 – Jankovic v S Zheng –> HOT TIP

Surprised a bit by the odds here. Jankovic is by far the better of these two. I do think she will be the better starter to this match, hence back her.

8. 8:00 – Zhang v Hsieh –> HOT TIP

As well as Zhang can serve, I think Hsieh’s defensive game is too hard to ignore.

9. 13:00 – Cepelova v Friedsam —> HOT TIP

Friendsam played exceptionally well against Cibulkova earlier. Moreover her serves have been solid. Cepelova will find it difficult here..
