ATP HEINEKEN:

1. 00:15 – Lu v Ramos

Ramos beat Lorenzi in the previous round but Lu beat a much better Monaco. I feel overall, Lu is the better player between these two and definitely the more comfortable on hard courts.

Back Lu @1.52, lay @1.2

2. 01:30 – Robredo v Venus

Robredo is simply too full of experience compared to Venus. The odds indicate that Tommy should win this comfortably and I stand by that. I feel this is a safe enough bet today.

Back Robredo @1.14, lay @1.04

3. 05:30 – Vesely v Gulbis

Gulbis is yet to play a match this year while Vesely played in Chennai earlier and have won all 3 of his previous matches in Auckland without losing a set. It’s hard to judge how well Gulbis might start here and noting the fact that Vesely has a decent serve in his arsenal, I’m suggesting to lay the Latvian.

Lay Gulbis @1.65, back @2

WTA HOBART:

4. 03:45 – Hantuchova v Diyas

Just too confident in another good performance from Zarina as she has really been consistent in the past few months. If Hantuchova’s serve stats isn’t good enough tomorrow, this one is likely to be a quick win for the Kazakh girl.

Back Diyas @1.47, lay @1.18

Good luck!

Some Terms Explained:

Back: Normal Stakes – use 10% of bank.
Back Heavy(BH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Lay: Normal stakes – use 10% of bank.
Lay Heavy(LH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Likely 3 Setter – consider laying the winner of the first set.
Hot Tip – I have more confidence in these tips. However, use normal stake sizes.

Tips are deemed unsuccessful at 40% loss of stake.

All odds shown with the tips are correct at time of publishing. Odds are often given several hours ahead of the event. If odds have changed, adjust your back/lay stake accordingly e.g. if I tip ‘Back at 1.5, Lay at 1.25’ – and back odds move to 1.55, adjust your lay odds to 1.3 – there are still 25 ticks between the back and lay odds.

Delay and Trade!! It’s OK to place your trades before the match starts, but in my opinion, waiting 2/3 games before placing your trades is the safest way to trade. This is advised in many of the articles below. To delay and trade will give you a good feel for the match. Delay and Trade is a MUST if you are Backing Heavy. Delaying is advised mostly for the women’s game, as early breaks of serve are more likely.  Please read the relevant article below.

Some folks have asked why I call the tips ‘Betfair Tennis Trading Tips’ and have asked if the tips can be used on other betting exchanges. I use Betfair for all my trading because Betfair has the best liquidity. All of my prices are taken from Betfair.
Betfair Tennis Trading gives you the best opportunities to make profits. You can use the trading tips on other exchanges – there may be small price differences – but these shouldn’t matter. If you decide to use a site other that Betfair for trading, make sure that the liquidity is there.
If you’re unsure about what liquidity is required, see question 17 on my FAQ section at https://tennis-trading-league.com/faq/
