1. 23:00 – Mannarino v Falla
I thought Mannarino started rather well against Agut yesterday while Falla looked rather dodgy in his serves eventhough he won in straight sets. Suggesting to back the Frenchman..
—> Back Mannarino @1.37, lay @1.15
2. 00:15 – Pouille v Ramos –> HOT TIP
Ramos who is known mainly for his clay court expertise is really putting on a show in Auckland. To beat Lu in straight sets is no easy thing. Pouille played a rather inexperienced Venus in his last match so this one is likely to favour the Spaniard as per current form…
—> Back Ramos @1.78, lay @1.45
ATP APIA INTERNATIONAL:
3. 4:30 – Del Potro v Kukushkin
Even though Del Po came through against Stakhovsky in 2 sets and Fognini in 3, I must say that he looks far from his usual form. I am suggesting hence to lay the Argentinian here against a very good hard court player.
—> Lay Del Potro @1.52, back @2
WTA APIA INTERNATIONAL:
4. 08:00 – Pironkova v Kvitova –> BACK HEAVY!
After an early round loss to Suarez Navarro in Brisbane, the Bulgarian Pironkova has been on fire in Sydney. However, Kvitova is still a MAJOR challenge for her to overcome tomorrow.
I’m going for an easy Petra win here so BACK HEAVY is a good strategy here.
—> BH Kvitova @1.36, lay @1.12
5. 23:00 – Hantuchova v Diyas
Same tip as yesterday:
Just too confident in another good performance from Zarina as she has really been consistent in the past few months. If Hantuchova’s serve stats aren’t good enough, this one is likely to be a quick win for the Kazakh girl.
Back Diyas @1.44, lay @1.18
Some Terms Explained:
Back: Normal Stakes – use 10% of bank.
Back Heavy(BH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Lay: Normal stakes – use 10% of bank.
Lay Heavy(LH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Likely 3 Setter – consider laying the winner of the first set.
Hot Tip – I have more confidence in these tips. However, use normal stake sizes.
Tips are deemed unsuccessful at 40% loss of stake.
All odds shown with the tips are correct at time of publishing. Odds are often given several hours ahead of the event. If odds have changed, adjust your back/lay stake accordingly e.g. if I tip ‘Back at 1.5, Lay at 1.25’ – and back odds move to 1.55, adjust your lay odds to 1.3 – there are still 25 ticks between the back and lay odds.
Delay and Trade!! It’s OK to place your trades before the match starts, but in my opinion, waiting 2/3 games before placing your trades is the safest way to trade. This is advised in many of the articles below. To delay and trade will give you a good feel for the match. Delay and Trade is a MUST if you are Backing Heavy. Delaying is advised mostly for the women’s game, as early breaks of serve are more likely. Please read the relevant article below.
