Betfair Tennis Trading Tips Monday 23rd June Wimbledon Day 1

wimbledon2

All times are UK/Irish and are subject to change, and all times are in 24hr format e.g., 01.00 = 1am and 16:00 = 4pm:

PLEASE NOTE, IF THERE ARE LIQUIDITY ISSUES, ALWAYS KEEP THE STAKES LOW

Firstly, there are too many tips given here for one person to trade!! The reason behind giving this many is so that you have options throughout the day. There are more than 60 singles matches at Wimbledon today, and I have tipped about one third of them so it’s not that many!! Normally I wouldn’t tip this many but the stats done over the past few days give me confidence in them.

As always, start with the Hot Tips as I have a little extra confidence in these and trade other matches around them.

Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions…

19. 16:30 – Melzer v Tsonga – HOT TIP

Lay [email protected], [email protected]

If Tsonga wins the first set very easily, consider laying him immediately!

I really feel Melzer has a chance to knock out Tsonga today!

I will consider this match unsuccessful only if Tsonga wins the first two sets easily so consider giving low lay prices on him in advance. This could be a great market for trading!

WOMENS

20. 17:00 – Pironkova v Lepchenko

Lay [email protected], [email protected]

HOT TIPS: Agut, Kamke, Dolgopolov, Svitolina, Konta, Stosur, Cibulkova and Melzer!

Good luck!

Some Terms Explained:

Back: Low Stakes – use 10% of bank.
Back Heavy(BH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Lay: Low stakes – use 10% of bank.
Lay Heavy(LH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Likely 3 Setter – consider laying the winner of the first set.
Hot Tip – I have more confidence in these tips. However, use normal stake sizes.

Tips are deemed unsuccessful at 40% loss of stake.

All odds shown with the tips are correct at time of publishing. Odds are often given several hours ahead of the event. If odds have changed, adjust your back/lay stake accordingly e.g. if I tip ‘Back at 1.5, Lay at 1.25’ – and back odds move to 1.6, adjust your lay odds to 1.35 – there are still 25 ticks between the back and lay odds.

Delay and Trade!! It’s OK to place your trades before the match starts, but in my opinion, waiting 2/3 games before placing your trades is the safest way to trade. This is advised in many of the articles below. To delay and trade will give you a good feel for the match. Delay and Trade is a MUST if you are Backing Heavy. Delaying is advised mostly for the women’s game, as early breaks of serve are more likely.  Please read the relevant article below.

Please read all of the articles below if you are new to the tips!

Help and Advice: Tennis Trading Tip – Successful or not?

Some folks have asked why I call the tips ‘Betfair Tennis Trading Tips’ and have asked if the tips can be used on other betting exchanges. I use Betfair for all my trading because Betfair has the best liquidity. All of my prices are taken from Betfair.
Betfair Tennis Trading gives you the best opportunities to make profits. You can use the trading tips on other exchanges – there may be small price differences – but these shouldn’t matter. If you decide to use a site other that Betfair for trading, make sure that the liquidity is there.
If you’re unsure about what liquidity is required, see question 17 on my FAQ section at https://tennis-trading-league.com/faq/
