WTA ROME:

1. 10:00 – Navarro v Bacsinszky

While Bacsinszky’s form has been impressive in the past few months, beating Navarro on Clay should be quite a tough challenge.

Suggesting to lay the Swiss girl at the start as the first set could see a lot of market movements..

2. 10:00 – Begu v Kasatkina

Begu caused the biggest upset so far in Rome knocking out Azarenka in straight sets. While Kasatkina is one of the most improved players on WTA this year, I can’t see the Russian dominating this match.

Stick to Begu at the start..

ATP ROME:

3. 11:00 – Federer v Thiem —> HOT TIP

Federer dominated against Zverev who thrashed Dimitrov earlier. While Thiem is a very good clay court player, he has had a couple of losses recently, one to an out of form Del Potro in straight sets.

With Roger opting out of the Madrid open, there is more reason to believe he would be fresher coming into this match.

Back the Swiss at the start..
