WTA MIAMI:

1. 16:30 – Schmiedlova v Brengle –> HOT TIP

Schmiedlova’s form is abysmal with first round losses at Dubai, Doha and Indian Wells, all in straight sets. Happy to back Brengle who is playing at home ..

2. 19:30 – Stosur v Goerges

While Stosur put on a decent performance at Indian Wells losing only to eventual Champ Azarenka, I do worry about her consistency. Meanwhile, Goerges has generally had a solid hard court season and is quite a decent server. This could be quite a tricky affair for the Australian.

3. 21:00 – Witthoeft v Kuznetsova

Wouldn’t be too surprised if we see an upset here as Kuznetsova is definitely showing her age recently and Witthoeft is gaining more and more confidence on the WTA circuit.

Suggesting to lay the Russian as the first set could be a tight affair…
