WOMEN:

1. 11:00 – Witthoeft v Kerber —> NO STOP LOSS RECOMMENDED (SAME TIP AS YESTERDAY)

(FOR THIS TIP STATS WILL BE CALCULATED FOR A STAKE OF 4 UNITS)

The only time these two faced each other was at last year’s Wimbledon which Kerber won by a destructive 6-0 6-0 scoreline! Since then, Carina Witthoeft has improved by a light year and has already beaten two very decent players in straight sets, Begu and Nara.

I genuinely believe there is reason to lay Kerber here. Stick to low stakes however..

2. 12:30 – Halep v Bertens (SAME TIP AS YESTERDAY)

Bertens has won 9 of her previous 10 matches coming into this game and already beat two very tricky players in straight sets, Ostapenko and Barthel.

Suggesting to lay Halep at the start as the underdog is playing very consistent Tennis at the moment..

3. 14:00 – Cibulkova v Bouchard

While Bouchard’s win over Konta was very impressive, Cibulkova is unbeaten on Grass so far with victory at the Eastbourne final few days ago. The important stat worth noting is that she has lost just one set in all 7 of her Grass court affairs, which was to Aga Radwanska.

I am agreeing Cibu is the right favourite today so back her at the start…

MEN:

4. 15.30 – Isner v Tsonga

Tsonga is one of the few players who can probably neutralize Isner’s massive serve on Grass. With a very solid win over Monaco yesterday, I am more inclined to go for the Frenchman at the start..
