Predictions for Davis Cup and WTA finals!

Kazakhstan vs Austria:

Korolev vs Haider Mauer: The odds are 1.7 on Korolev. I personally
disagree to that. For me Haider Mauer is a pretty decent player. Hence
2 choices here. Wait for the first set completely, if korolev wins the
set, lay him immediately for a decent amount. Second, less safe option
is to lay korolev at the start. Either way that odds should go up at
some point!

You can back Korolev at a price to profit like 2.5 which may very well happen!

Wawrinka vs Berdych:

This could be the match of the day. I feel this could be a very touch
one to call. I would personally go for Berdych as his serve is
definitely better. When it comes to rallies however, few can outplay
wawrinka as he almost did djokovic in the aussie open. I personally
think this could be a very tight match a possible 5 setter. But
Berdych odds is likely go down at some stage I feel.

Safest strategy maybe to lay berdych when his price goes to a rather
low level like 1.3 or 1.4. Hence wait for the first set to see if you
can apply that here.

France vs Israel:

Tsonga vs Sela: Free money for me on Tsonga here at 1.08. Back him
heavy and lay him at a price of 1.02 or 1.01!

Italy vs Croatia:

Cilic vs Seppi: Another possible 5 setter here. Cilic will want to
avenge his defeat to seppi from Australian open hence this could be
cracker of a match. Still match being played on clay means Seppi will
have an advantage hence his odds are rightly 1.65. I would say just
backing him is a good enough strategy laying at a lower price later.
However dont back heavy here. 20 – 30 units are enough I feel to get
into this trade.

Dodig vs Fognini: Betfair odds are not yet finalized on this one. I
expect a close match here as well. Maybe just going in favour of dodig
in a 5 setter. Either way this could be an interesting match as well!
Back in dodig’s favour for a less risky situation!

OTHER matches not sorted yet on betfair that I think are good tips are
as follows:

Raonic to beat Granollers –> Easy money I feel. Granollers if he
doesnt serve will get thrashed!

Dancevic to beat Ramos –> Another possible free money as dancevic was
in good form against granollers the other day.
I honestly couldnt believe when I saw spain put these 2 guys as their
main hopes for the davis cup! Of all of the great spanish players they
made a huge disaster selecting these 2!

Querrey vs Alves : Another free money on querrey here. Back heavy ,
lay low strategy should work here comfortably!

NOTE: ALL THE ABOVE DAVIS CUP PLAYERS MAY CHANGE IN THE LAST MOMENT!

WTA:

My yesterday’s prediction was all right except for the best match I
thought between Mladenovic vs Barthel. I quoted about waiting a few
games to see how mladenovic plays and then lay barthel. If you had
done that you could have opted out to trade at the start. Laying
barthel anyways at the end of the first set was the right strategy
anyways as Mladenovic had quite a few chances but took none! Eitherway
I expected the match to be a good one to trade but Mladenovic rallies
were far poor than predicted and Barthel was pretty much spot on
through out. Hence if she plays like that she may beat Errani easy
today!

Barthel vs Errani:

1.58 for Barthel could be the right price. But if she wins the first
set, no matter what price it maybe, lay her for some amount. The price
may fall to 1.2 range and hence laying for a small quid there is the
right strategy.

As the match goes on, errani will play better I feel. So keeping that
in mind, do not back barthel heavy at any stage as it could be a risky
business!
