Tennis Trading Tips Saturday 6th April

Saturday’s Tips:

Family Circle Cup WTA:

1. Serena v Venus:

Good to see both the sisters meet after a long gap. This should be a
cracking match and I expect Venus to put up a great show.

S: Lay Serena @1.15, back @ 1.3

For me this is very likely to happen today. If Serena storms to a lead
early on, don’t trade out, just lay that price for a bit more. So for
example if you have laid @1.15 for 20 units with a liability of 3
units, and Serena is leading 3-0 the odds are likely to be in the 1.07
range, so lay @1.07 for another 20 more. The liabilities are low here
risk is minimal!

2. Jankovic v Voegele:

I personally made a bit of money on the Voegele match yesterday and
what a match it was. This girl is my favourite newbie. What a player,
she was pretty much chasing every balls and her shots were absolutely
spot on! Completely deserved to win yesterday.

Today, however, this is not going to be easy. I think Jankovic will
give her more problems than Wozniacki. Hence backing Janko at the
start is a better option I feel.

S: Back Jankovic @1.55, lay@1.3

WTA Monterrey

3. Kerber v Kirilenko:

Really hard to predict this one. I would give an edge to Kerber just
as the odds suggests.

S: Back Kerber @1.95, lay@1.75

4. Niculescu v Pavlyuchenkova:

Another tough one to call, I am going for the underdog Pavlyuchenkova
here to win but Niculescu to start well hence backing Nicu is probably
a better strategy.

S: Back Nicu@1.9, lay@1.7

DAVIS CUP Doubles:

5. Nalbandian/Zeballos v Benneteau/Llodra:

I do think laying the French team here is a good option. This maybe a
5 setter in the home team’s favour!
