Tennis Trading Tips Stats 8th – 12th June

Not the best few days – we had small losses. Nothing to worry about after a huge French Open. As the players change from Clay to Grass, it can sometimes be a little more difficult to predict their form. We had a brilliant Grass Court Season in 2013 and 2014, and really looking forward to this years grass court season which is one week longer than before.

2. Nieminen v Copil: TIP: Back Nieminen @1.57, lay @1.3

Unsuccessful: -4 units

Overall: 1 / 2 Successful: -2.4 units

1. Baghdatis v Rosol: TIP: Lay Baghdatis @1.8, back @2.5

Unsuccessful: -4 units

Rosol was a break up in both sets and managed to choke miserably. A rather pathetic performance by the Czech here..

2. Lu v Mannarino: TIP: Back Mannarino @1.66, lay @1.3

Successful: +2.75 units

Overall: 1 / 2 Successful: -1.25 units

1. Puig v Konta: TIP: Back Konta @1.8, lay @1.4

Unsuccessful: -4 units

Konta eventually won after starting really poor. A bit disappointing for trading!

2. Vandeweghe v Maria: TIP: Lay Vandeweghe @1.39, back @1.65

Successful: +4 units

After an early break, I feel this would have hit our target, approaching the 8th game in 1st set. Definitely a tough match for Coco here and the pricing was rather wrong as I suspected.

3. Krajicek v Giorgi: TIP: Back Giorgi @1.38, lay @1.18

Unsuccessful: -4 units

After a rather tough initial set, Giorgi won rather comfortably in the end. The bad start cost us here..

4. Pospisil v Muller: TIP: Back Muller @1.6, lay @1.25

Successful: +2.8 units

5. Janowicz v Kohlschreiber: ‘HOT TIP’: Back Kohli @1.33, lay @1.16

Successful: +1.45 units

Pretty much the perfect call here as Kiki blew Coco away!

4. Karlovic v Haase: TIP: Lay Karlo @1.56, back @2.5

Unsuccessful: -4 units

You can see why I tipped Haase here as he turned out to be the right bet eventually and won this match in 3 sets after losing the 1st on a tie-break..
Unlucky for us, but still the right trade in my opinion.

5. Nadal v Tomic: TIP: Lay Nadal @1.64, back @2

Unsuccessful: -4 units

A tough match for Rafa but to be fair, he was the better player on the day..

Overall: 4 matches considered, 1 / 4 successful: -6.15 units
