WIMBLEDON DAY 11:

MEN:

1. 13:00 – Djokovic v Gasquet ===> SPECIAL ADVICE (NOT CONSIDERED FOR STATS)

THIS ADVICE IS APPLICABLE ONLY IF NOVAK DJOKOVIC WINS THE FIRST SET

Simply putting, Novak Djokovic has completely dominated Gasquet with a 12-1 record (including exhibition events). While I agree that the Serbian must be the favourite (obviously), I do feel a challenge from Gasquet is quite a possibility.

With this in mind, I suggest laying Djoko IF HE WINS THE FIRST SET. In this case, you are likely to get much better lay odds.
You can also choose to delay for a break in favour of Djokovic in the 2nd set and then lay him.

Either way, the right price of laying in my opinion would be around 1.03 and below so give these as advanced prices.

Suggesting low staking here..

2. 15:15 – Murray v Federer

The Head to Head stats is very close between these two, 12-11 in Federer’s favour. He also has the more important Grandslam head to head record going for him @ 4-1.
To make it worse for Andy, since beating Federer at the 2013 Australian Open, Andy Murray has won just 1 set in the next 3 matches against his Swiss rival.
Another disastrous stat: the last time these two faced in London, the scoreline was a humiliating 6-0 6-1 defeat for the Scot.

While I think, these stats may not matter much for Andy today as he has definitely played well this season, my initial HOT BET for this tournament Outright was Roger and so far he hasn’t let me down with his consistency.

For me, the Swiss legend has played wonderfully throughout the tournament, with precision serving, and showing some of his past glory. Indeed, if anyone can beat Murray other than Djokovic it is him!

Expecting a win for Roger today in a match that could very well go the distance…

—> Lay Murray @1.93, back @2.6

Good luck!

Some Terms Explained:

Back: Normal Stakes – use 10% of bank.
Back Heavy(BH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Lay: Normal stakes – use 10% of bank.
Lay Heavy(LH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Likely 3 Setter – consider laying the winner of the first set.
Hot Tip – I have more confidence in these tips. However, use normal stake sizes.

Tips are deemed unsuccessful at 40% loss of stake.

All odds shown with the tips are correct at time of publishing. Odds are often given several hours ahead of the event. If odds have changed, adjust your back/lay stake accordingly e.g. if I tip ‘Back at 1.5, Lay at 1.25’ – and back odds move to 1.55, adjust your lay odds to 1.3 – there are still 25 ticks between the back and lay odds.

Delay and Trade!! It’s OK to place your trades before the match starts, but in my opinion, waiting 2/3 games before placing your trades is the safest way to trade. This is advised in many of the articles below. To delay and trade will give you a good feel for the match. Delay and Trade is a MUST if you are Backing Heavy. Delaying is advised mostly for the women’s game, as early breaks of serve are more likely.  Please read the relevant article below.
