WIMBLEDON DAY 8:
WOMEN:
1. 14:30 – Serena v Azarenka
After Serena’s dominant performance against sister Venus, I feel this one is likely to go only one way.
Credit to Azarenka, she has really played well so far but I just can’t see the Belarusian beating her nemesis today.
—> Back Serena @1.3, lay @1.14
2. 15:15 – Muguruza v Bacsinszky
Both have played extremely well so far at Wimbledon with Mugu beating a dangerous Kerber and then Wozniacki, while Bacsinszky breezed past Lisicki but then had trouble against Niculescu.
In my opinion these are two pure attacking players and the serve is going to be huge.
Suggesting to lay Mugu at the start in what could end up as a thriller!
—> Lay Mugu @1.79, back @2.6
3. 16:45 – Keys v Radwanska –> HOT TIP
Radwanska’s form has completely changed in this tournament as she is yet to lose a set! I must say I didn’t see that coming with a rather disastrous season up to Wimbledon.
With Keys already having some issues against Voegele and Govortsova, I feel backing Radwa is definitely the right option here.
—> Back Radwa @1.5, lay @1.18
Good luck!
Some Terms Explained:
Back: Normal Stakes – use 10% of bank.
Back Heavy(BH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Lay: Normal stakes – use 10% of bank.
Lay Heavy(LH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Likely 3 Setter – consider laying the winner of the first set.
Hot Tip – I have more confidence in these tips. However, use normal stake sizes.
Tips are deemed unsuccessful at 40% loss of stake.
All odds shown with the tips are correct at time of publishing. Odds are often given several hours ahead of the event. If odds have changed, adjust your back/lay stake accordingly e.g. if I tip ‘Back at 1.5, Lay at 1.25’ – and back odds move to 1.55, adjust your lay odds to 1.3 – there are still 25 ticks between the back and lay odds.
Delay and Trade!! It’s OK to place your trades before the match starts, but in my opinion, waiting 2/3 games before placing your trades is the safest way to trade. This is advised in many of the articles below. To delay and trade will give you a good feel for the match. Delay and Trade is a MUST if you are Backing Heavy. Delaying is advised mostly for the women’s game, as early breaks of serve are more likely. Please read the relevant article below.
