WIMBLEDON DAY 9:
1. 13:00 – Simon v Federer
Roger Federer along with Stan Wawrinka have been the best performers so far in the Mens draw in my opinion.
I agree that he should be the heavy favourite here against Simon.
–> Back Federer @1.15, lay @1.04
2. 15:15 – Wawrinka v Gasquet –> HOT TIP
The head to head is tied at 1-1 with the last match coming at French Open 2013 which Stan won in a thrilling 5 setter.
I agree that Stan should be the favourite as he’s yet to lose a set and has looked extremely good in pretty much every department, most importantly serves.
Credit to Gasquet for knocking out Dimitrov rather easily but this one is going to be a big upset if he manages to pull it off.
Personally, I feel Stan should start this one well and can knock out the Frenchman in 3 sets.
—> Back Wawrinka @1.5, lay @1.18
Some Terms Explained:
Back: Normal Stakes – use 10% of bank.
Back Heavy(BH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Lay: Normal stakes – use 10% of bank.
Lay Heavy(LH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Likely 3 Setter – consider laying the winner of the first set.
Hot Tip – I have more confidence in these tips. However, use normal stake sizes.
Tips are deemed unsuccessful at 40% loss of stake.
All odds shown with the tips are correct at time of publishing. Odds are often given several hours ahead of the event. If odds have changed, adjust your back/lay stake accordingly e.g. if I tip ‘Back at 1.5, Lay at 1.25’ – and back odds move to 1.55, adjust your lay odds to 1.3 – there are still 25 ticks between the back and lay odds.
Delay and Trade!! It’s OK to place your trades before the match starts, but in my opinion, waiting 2/3 games before placing your trades is the safest way to trade. This is advised in many of the articles below. To delay and trade will give you a good feel for the match. Delay and Trade is a MUST if you are Backing Heavy. Delaying is advised mostly for the women’s game, as early breaks of serve are more likely. Please read the relevant article below.
